A FURIOUS EasyJet passenger has blasted the airline for a "grim" hotel stay after her flight from Turkey was delayed TWICE. Returning home a day earlier than the rest of her posse, Kimberly left her belongings and clothes with her family and as a result she was left to wear the same outfit for two days straight.

"Apparently a crew from Gatwick is being sent but with so many reasons regarding the delays we can’t rely on this being true. There are children without medication here, vegetarians who couldn’t eat the sandwiches given or if you had no paper boarding pass you were given nothing." EasyJet cited "air traffic control restrictions" as the cause of the delays.

A spokesperson for the airline said: “We’re sorry that, due to the impact of air traffic control restrictions caused by adverse weather and capacity restrictions, flight EZY3282 from Dalaman to Edinburgh on Saturday 20 July was delayed overnight. “We did all possible to minimise the impact of the disruption, providing hotel accommodation and meals for those who require them. “We are sorry that this accommodation fell below the standards expected for these customers and so in light of their feedback we are looking into this with our hotel provider.

“The safety and wellbeing of our customers and crew is our highest priority and while this was outside of our control, we would like to apologise for the inconvenience caused.".
