UAE equestrian Omar Al Marzouqi, who qualified for the final round in individual show jumping, has completed his stint at the Paris Olympics 2024 on Tuesday, August 6. The UAE National Olympic Committee announced on X, the 21-year-old Emirati rider recorded eight faults with a time of 83.38 seconds.
“Omar Al Marzouqi, the rider of our national show jumping team, recorded 8 faults with a time of 83.38 seconds in the individual competition final, with the participation of 30 male and female riders, concluding the participation of the UAE delegation in the Olympic Games in Paris,” reads the online update. عمر المرزوقي فارس منتخبنا الوطني لقفز الحواجز يسجل 8 أخطاء بزمن وقدره 83.

Omar Al Marzouqi was one among the 30 to qualify for the final round. Each individual in the UAE’s national showjumping team underwent rigorous training for the competition with 90 seconds and 8 hurdles for each rider.
