Reserved for the top 1 percent of its highest-betting customers, the refurbished space includes seven private rooms, lounges and bars. Next month, it plans to open a VIP lounge at Gimpo International Airport in Gangseo District, western Seoul.
Through these efforts, it aims to see revenue of 22 billion won ($16.5 million) by next year, and 32 billion won by 2026. “This expansion will be an important opportunity to secure hardware and high-roller customers that will give us an overwhelming competitive edge as an industry leader,” said Paradise Group in its Thursday statement.
“Going forward, we will upgrade our VIP-only facilities and services across all business sites, and apply new digital technologies to strengthen our position as a first mover in the industry." Paradise Group is a local hospitality conglomerate that operates four foreigners-only casinos in Seoul, Incheon, Busan and Jeju Island, in addition to hotels and resorts in the country. The company opened Korea's first casino in 1967 and Northeast Asia's first integrated resort, Paradise City, in 2017.
