Saturday, September 28, 2024 Elizabeth Ong has joined Pan Pacific Singapore as the brand’s new director of events, bringing over 26 years of experience in events management and catering sales, having held key positions in luxury properties including Mandarin Oriental, Capella Singapore, and Raffles Singapore. Ong’s goal will be to drive the corporate meetings, MICE and weddings business by leveraging her expertise to develop and implement strategic sales initiatives. Silvia Yeo has been appointed as director of commercial at Pan Pacific Singapore and will be bringing her 31 years of hospitality experience amassed from working with brands such as Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts, Resorts World Singapore, Marriott International, and Hilton.
As the director of commercial, Yeo will be responsible for overseeing the sales efforts for Pan Pacific Singapore and driving revenue growth by developing and implementing strategic sales initiatives. Fennie Poon will be coming on board as the hotel’s new director of finance. With close to 30 years of experience in the finance and hospitality industries, Poon has held key positions in prestigious hotels including PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay, Singapore, Shangri-La Singapore, and Kerry Hotel Beijing.
In her new role, Poon will focus on the hotel’s financial strategy to ensure operational efficiency, delivering strategic recommendations to drive revenue growth and optimize financial efficiency..
