Sean 'P Diddy' Combs is accused of multiple instances of sexual assault, rape and drugging minors. The Bad Boy millionaire, 54, was arrested last month in New York and later charged with sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, transportation and engaging in prostitution . Over the past year, he has been sued by several people who have brought civil actions claiming he subjected them to physical or sexual abuse, including his former girlfriend.
R&B singer Cassie, full name Casandra Elizabeth Ventura, has accused Combs of rape and a decade-long pattern of abuse that allegedly began when she was 19 years old. Diddy 'vehemently denied' Cassie's allegations last year and has pleaded not guilty to federal sex trafficking and racketeering charges. The music star - who has performed under the names Diddy, Puff Daddy and Love - is currently being held in Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center.
He has had two bail pleas rejected, despite offering $50,000 (£38,000) for his release, and is expected to be locked up until his trial kicks off on May 5, 2025. If Combs is convicted, he is looking at a minimum of 15 years behind bars, emerging at 69 years old. And if the courts decide on the extreme end of punishment, the rapper could find himself staring at a life sentence.
