Pune: The merit list for the special admission round 1 of the first year junior college ( FYJC , Std XI) in the centralised admission process for Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad was announced on Monday. Over 30,000 students were allotted seats with maximum in science stream getting a college as per preference. Of a total intake of 68,542 seats, the final merit list encompasses 33,074 students, of whom 30,594 are allocated junior colleges in accordance with their preferences, Jyoti Parihar, assistant director of Deputy Director of Education (Pune) said.

“Students should click on 'proceed for admission' in login, upload the documents, and validate their admission by visiting the college. Students who fail to take admission or whose admission is rejected or revoked, will not be admitted in later rounds,” he added.
