It’s not all sunshine and adventures on Outer Banks . Well, OK, maybe it is most of the time for the Pogues, but while filming season 4 of the hit Netflix series , there were some moments that didn’t sit well with Chase Stokes (John B). Particularly those where onlookers disrupted the filming process.

Heckling fans caused ‘disrespectful’ moments on the ‘Outer Banks’ Season 4 set Speaking to Cosmopolitan with his co-stars Rudy Pankow (JJ), Jonathan Daviss (Pope), and Drew Starkey (Rafe), Stokes opened up about some “disrespectful” moments on set. Specifically, what often happened when members of the public went beyond quietly watching the cast work. “We had a lot of moments this season where you’re in the middle of filming a scene in public,” he said.



“And then there’s three people standing there yelling your character’s name or taking a video.” “People don’t really understand that it is a job,” Stokes added. “And it’s disrespectful to the people that are working with us, our crew.

” Daviss compared it to performing onstage. “Imagine it like this—when we’re filming, it’s like we were doing a play,” he said. “And if you were watching a play, and somebody was up there giving their monologue and you were screaming at them, they’d probably get a little pissy because they have to be in a very specific mode to achieve the performance they’ve honed.

” “So we’re not so much angry at the fact that you enjoy what we’re doin.
