A POPULAR NC500 beauty spot is offering campervan drivers a place to park up for the night for just a small donation - but rely on the honesty of the tourists. Visitors are welcome to stay overnight at Dunbeath Harbour in Caithness and are asked to pop some money into their 'honesty box' to keep their facilities running. 5 Dunbeath Harbour offers campervan drivers to stay over night for a small fee 5 The honesty box has been set up for donations 5 There is a clean toilet block at the site 5 The area has stunning views out towards the harbour The location has a stunning view over the beach and harbour with plenty of places to park.

The site also has a clean block of toilets to use and bins placed around the area to keep it tidy. And they ask for just £7 from tourists to help keep their facilities going. But Victor Cormack from Dunbeath Heritage Trust revealed that motorhome drivers can sometimes abuse their trust and fail to pay a donation.

Victor added: "All the money raised at the harbour goes back into the harbour and goes back into the buildings.
