On Sunday, 34-year-old Orioles pitcher Albert Suárez, who spent the last five years pitching in Japan and Korea, twirled six scoreless innings for his third scoreless start in a row ( Aug. 18). Our team is blessed with a crop of amazing young players, but as we chase towards the World Series I think we should honor the surprise star of the team, a Venezuelan father of three, a journeyman nobody had heard about as the season began.
