Monday, January 27, 2025 The Sultanate of Oman took a proactive role at the International Tourism Exhibition “Fitur 2025,” held in Madrid from January 22 to 26. Represented by the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, Oman aimed to position itself as an attractive destination for Spanish and European tourists. Its pavilion showcased nine tourism institutions, companies, and hotels, accompanied by promotional campaigns and cultural events that highlighted Oman’s diverse offerings.

The cultural evening, a highlight of the event, featured Omani music, traditional costumes, and authentic cuisine, captivating visitors and demonstrating the country’s commitment to promoting its heritage and tourism potential. Strengthening Bilateral Tourism Collaboration During the event, Omani officials engaged in bilateral meetings with Spanish government bodies and private tourism companies to explore collaboration opportunities. Discussions revolved around enhancing tourism ties between the two nations, with a focus on mutual benefits in expanding the tourism sector.
