The romantic tension comes courtesy of Czech Republic tennis players Katerina Siniakova and Tomas Machac , who took home the gold medal in the Aug. 2 mixed doubles competition against China's Wang Xinyu and Zhang Zhizhen in Paris.
And the couple—who reportedly called it quits in July after first being linked in 2020—celebrated their win with an emotional moment. In one image shared on X , formerly Twitter, they could be seen sharing a kiss on the court, promoting fans to speculate that they could be back together. As for what the intimate embrace means for the current nature of their relationship? Katerina and Tomas are playing that close to the vest.
"That's our personal life," Katerina told a reporter who asked her if they were dating during a post-game press conference . "So, you don't need to know that." Tomas joked, "This is top secret.
