By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Nov. 21: Ocean Jung Thapa from Biratnagar was crowned Mr. Little Koshi and Upasana Ramdam from Dharan was crowned Miss Little Koshi at the seventh edition of Mr.
and Miss Little Koshi. In the finals held in Biratnagar, both winners received a cash prize of Rs. 30,000 each, along with various other awards.
Organised by Jay Media Management, the competition also recognised several runners-up. In the Mr. category, Asim Timilsina from Biratnagar became the First Runner-up, Aarohan Pokharel from Biratnagar was the Second Runner-up, and Arman Jimmy from Itahari was the Third Runner-up.
In the Miss category, Smarika Dangal from Biratnagar became the First Runner-Up, Riyansha Sapkota from Biratnagar was the Second Runner-Up, and Gracy Karki from Biratnagar secured the Third Runner-Up. The winners and runners-up were awarded by Koshi Province Minister Sirjana Rai, Treasurer of the Nepali Congress Koshi Province Rajesh Gupta, Secretary of the Sports Ministry of Koshi Province Krishna Basnet, and Chairperson of the CPN-UML Biratnagar Metropolitan Committee Rohit Koirala. The competition’s panel of judges included Anup Saxena, founder of Men Hunt International; Osima Banu, founder of House of Fashion, model, and trainer, Rupesh Koirala, former Attorney General of Koshi Province, and Bheshraj Pokharel, National Vice-President of HISAN.
