Gracing Singapore’s vibrant nightlife scene with its glowing presence is the latest scintillating bar in town, Nova. Perched just right above its sister restaurant , HighHouse, the rooftop bar takes the crown of a 63-storey high skyscraper with a breathtaking panoramic view of our city’s concrete jungle. As you emerge at the top of the staircase, the magnificent skyline is not the only thing that awaits your company.

The cool hues of a large light installation illuminates a buzzy atmosphere that transports guests into the magnificent artistic expression of Kuala Lumpur-based artist, Jun Ong, and his interpretation of the supernova phenomenon. Where matter and energy intersect, Ong’s innovative creation converges the gap between the natural glimmers in our ethereal sky and the man-made installation. The geometric artwork beating at the heart of Nova is reflective of the bar’s central theme—embracing the ethos of creation and self-expression.



To honour this spirit, presentations of the bar’s concept are sprinkled across the space. On the design front, Nova embodies a chic and modern character that melds man-made and natural elements. The walls are clad with steel and aluminium, which starkly contrast with the earthy dark wooden flooring and decorative plants.

It ties the space together, offering a sense of familiarity with an avant-garde spin that leaves you in wide-eyed wonder. Of course, to amp up the ambience further, the neon rays need to be complemented with ex.
