The New York Giants beat the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, escaping with a 29-20 win despite their best offensive player, receiver Malik Nabers, and starting running back Devin Singletary. That in itself is impressive. Going on the road and coming away with an upset victory is no small task.
But doing so in the fashion they did, with each unit playing well and unheralded players making the biggest plays, makes it all the more special. to thank. He wasn’t featured on the first drive – that was Eric Gray. But after Gray fumbled at the goal line, handing Seattle a touchdown and as much momentum as one is willing to believe in.
Tracy, though, replaced Gray, rushing 18 times for 129 yards. He was explosive, decisive, and consistent. He managed to mitigate blown up plays and was able to take advantage of Seattle’s defense, even when it fit the run well.
Needless to say, quarterback Daniel Jones was impressed with the effort. “We’ve said all along we’re confident in our whole group and all the guys we’ve got," Jones said, via SNY . We’ve got a deep room, at all the skill positions we’ve got guys that make plays.
