A Delta Air Lines Airbus A320 arrived in Denver with a mystery randome dent to the aircraft. The Delta flight sustained visible damage from a mechanical issue during its flight and arrived at Denver International Airport on Monday, November 11. No reports of being struck Delta Air Lines confirmed that the airline had not received any reports from crew of the aircraft being struck to cause damage, and the flight was able to complete its flight from Detroit to Denver without incident.

Upon arrival in Denver, the aircraft could land, and taxi to the gate without issue. The aircraft was removed from service and investigated by the maintenance crew. Delta released this interim statement, as reported by Denver7News : "Crews received an indication of a mechanical issue in the nose of the aircraft.



The flight landed safely and taxied to the gate without incident. Our maintenance crews are inspecting the aircraft. We apologize to our customers for the delay in their travel.

” 148 passengers were onboard the flight, including six crew members. According to Flightradar24 , the flight, operating as DL1648, departed on Monday, November 11, at 12:51, arriving in Denver at 13:30, and was operated by aircraft holding registration N351NW . The Federal Aviation Administration has released this statement about the flight: 'Aircraft landed and post flight inspection revealed nose cone collapsed for unknown reasons during flight, Denver, CO.
