Construction of the new 1800 square metre Northland Radiation Oncology facility is forging ahead with impressive strides and is set to be completed by March 2026. The project started in February this year and significant progress has been made.
The earthworks, a crucial phase involving extensive piling, and the establishment of primary retaining structures have been successfully completed. This foundation sets the stage for the next stages of construction. In a statement, Health New Zealand – Te Whatu Ora said currently the foundation slabs are being prepared for concrete pours.
