Friday, January 24, 2025 The local mayor’s office is developing two additional beaches in North Obhur, with one spanning 10,320 square meters and the other covering an expansive 75,000 square meters. The Jeddah Mayoralty has officially launched the first sandy beach in North Obhur, covering 17,640 square meters. This vibrant recreational destination enhances the coastal experience for both residents and tourists, offering a beautifully designed public space for relaxation and leisure by the sea.

This project aligns with the mayoralty’s broader vision to rejuvenate waterfront areas and introduce exemplary public sandy beaches. By creating accessible and attractive destinations, the initiative aims to elevate the quality of life while promoting Jeddah’s appeal as a vibrant coastal city. The mayoralty is currently developing two additional beaches in North Obhur, with one spanning an area of 10,320 square meters and the other stretching across 75,000 square meters.
