December 31, 1936 - August 6, 2024 MUSCATINE, IA – Norma Louise Hurlbut, 87, passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at Colonial Manor in Columbus Junction, IA. Funeral Service will be 11 a.m.
, on Monday, August 12, 2024, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Pastor Chris Marshall will officiate.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m.

com . Norma was born on December 31, 1936, on a farm in Louisa County, IA, the daughter of Norval and Susie (Schlapkohl) Hill. She married, Robert Donald Hurlbut on April 7, 1956, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, IA.
He preceded her in death on January 25, 2015. After high school graduation, Norma graduated from beauty school in Burlington. Norma was a member of the First Baptist Church, Women's Mission Circle at the church, and Muscatine Garden Club.
Norma was an active volunteer in which she would deliver meals on wheels, Sunday school, and deliver mail at the hospital. Norma enjoyed quilting and sewing. She also had a green thumb and worked in her garden.
Norma in survived by her children, Thomas Hurlbut, David Hurlbut and wife, Nancy, Sarah Johnson and husband, Dwayne, and Alyssa Daniels and husband, Brad; grandchildren, Jill and John Hesseling, Jaimie and Josh Howell, Jacob and Konnie Hurlbut, Ben and Tiffany Hurlbut, Joe and Scotty Hurlbut, Mary and Luke Harvey, Jamie Gates, James Lane and Sierra Muse, Brekkon and Blazin Daniels, Stephanie and Danny Luster, Tiffanie and Gabriel Meyers, and Brittanie Lueth; great-grandchildren, Lauren, Annabelle, John, Hunter, Cahvion, Cynovia, Zoie, Mitchell, Grant, Joel, Brady, Kinley, Joey, Noah, Mia, Jeremy, Bryson, Kennedy, Norah, Jack, Archie, Harrison, Kora, Brightyn, Penelope, Aria, Izaiah, Nadiya, Lyric, Braiden, Ezra, Elyse, Allia, and Alyvia; brother-in-law, Trevis Twitty; and sister-in-law, Johannah Hurlbut.
