More than 120 nominations for local businesses were received this summer, and 74 nominees accepted those nominations and completed their nomination packages. "Their role in phase one is to narrow each award category down to three finalists, followed by in-person interviews with each of the finalists during phase two," explains a press release from the Chamber of Commerce. "The top three category finalists will be announced during a nominee reception on Tuesday, September 17, with the winners revealed during the Business Excellence Awards Gala taking place on Saturday, October 19 in the Penticton Lakeside Resort’s East Ballroom.

This year’s theme is a ‘Luminous Night of Celebration – Shining a Light on Penticton’s Business and Community Leaders.'"
