Controversial Nollywood actor, Uche Maduagwu, has slammed Nigerian Afrobeat singer, David Adeleke, better known as Davido , over ₦68 million car gift to music executive, Ubi Franklin. Naija News reports that Ubi, in a post via his Instagram page, revealed that Davido had gifted him a new car. While appreciating Davido for the expensive gift, Ubi stated that the singer knows how to do what is suitable for his people.
He wrote, “David Adeleke, just gifted me a car, Bro. thank you for everything. I love you.
Davido truly knows how to do what’s right for his people. I appreciate.” Reacting via his Instagram page, Uche Maduagwu criticized Davido for gifting Ubi Franklin a new car but unable to rent N23 million apartment for his baby mama, Sophia Momodu and their daughter, Imade.
The movie star told Davido that Charity begins at home and should use the same energy to pay Sophia’s rent. He said, “Davido, Charity begins at home. If you can give Ubi Wey no be your Family, 68 Million Naira car, then you suppose fit pay my Sophia Sophia, (Wey be MAMA of your First Pikin) 23 Million Naira house RENT.
