Thiruvananthapuram: Law minister P Rajeeve said the govt will take appropriate measures to implement the recommendations in the Hema Committee report . Speaking to the media in Kochi on Tuesday, Rajeeve pointed out that the report does not include recommendations for initiating legal cases against any individuals. Addressing concerns about registering cases related to alleged sexual abuses, Rajeeve clarified that the committee did not suggest such actions.

“Had the committee intended to recommend legal proceedings , it would have been highlighted as a major recommendation in the report. There are no direct or indirect suggestions regarding case registrations. If there had been a need for legal action, it would have been prominently included in the committee’s recommendations,” Rajeeve said.
