The 54-year-old actor uses the lyrics of the parody of the 1984 Greenwood song - which Republican presidential candidate and former President Donald Trump has used as his entrance music for events - to skewer Trump over a number of scandals he's been involved in. The Joliet, Illinois native introduced the clip while standing in a woodsy area, clad in a gray shirt baring an image of a bald eagle.



The Parks and Recreation alum saying that the song was penned to be from the perspective of a Republican voter who can no longer support the party's candidate amid his numerous controversies. 'I'm very enthusiastic to be supporting the presidential campaign of Vice President Kamala Harris and Governor Tim Walz,' said Offerman, who won an Emmy last year for his work on HBO 's The Last of Us . 'For obvious reasons, there are a lot of Republicans that are very Kamala-curious.

' The chorus continues: 'It's time to stand up and face the facts after all the scams and tricks/ He's a half-a**ed Putin wannabe, yes, Trump's a f***ing d***.' Another lyric references allegations Trump kept classified documents in random rooms at his Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach, Florida. 'Kamala's got momentum, and that lady she's no quitter/Plus, she never hid nuclear secrets in the Mar-a-Lago s****er,' the song says.

The music video featured a number of clips of Trump's more controversial moments, from his remarks on the war service of late Sen. John McCain to his mocking of a disabled reporter to his socializing with late convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein . On Offerman's YouTube page, in which the song was posted, the actor penned a description of the song parody.

' Offerman wrapped up in encouraging people to donate to Harris' campaign, saying, 'Join me in goosing the joy and positivity of the Harris-Walz campaign with any filthy lucre you can spare.' Offerman joins a large group of celebs who have endorsed Harris following President Joe Biden's exit from the race last month. Stevie Wonder, Pink, John Legend and Lil Jon took the stage at the Democratic National Convention last week.
