Nick Grimshaw's luxury Ibiza apartment was reportedly targeted by a gang of thieves. The former Radio 1 DJ has reportedly been left "shaken" after his holiday home was raided by the alleged gang. It's claimed the robbers who ransacked the property have been pumping sedative gas into the villas before breaking in.

Nick, who rented the villa last month to celebrate his 40th birthday with family, is said to be "shaken" by the event. But it's believed none of Nick's family or friends were hurt during the ordeal. According to the Mail, the gang sedated Nick and his elderly mother before entering the property.

It's said the gang have been breaking into luxury villas in the area and pumping sedative gas into the villas. A source told The Sun: "There have been a spate of attacks in luxury villas across Ibiza this summer. Sadly Nick’s villa was on the target list - simply due it being known for being used by high net worth clients.

“The gang would have had no idea who he was. Sadly it’s a case of the wrong place at the wrong time but it’s scary to say the least. Nick was obviously upset but thought best to keep things off social media.

At the end of the day it was meant to be a private low key break with his family." Nick was also joined by fiancé Meshach Henry on the trip and it's believed they're now back in London. The pair met in a pub smoking area back in 2019.

The couple, who have been dating for five years, got engaged in March when Mesh popped the question. Nick admitted the wedding keeps slipping their minds but did say he sees children in their future. He told The Mirror: "Honestly? I know what you're going to say but I've not given it any thought whatsoever.

I obviously want to get married, we're engaged, and we're always like 'yeah, we should do that' but we never get to planning, it doesn't get past talking about it. "It's probably not going to be this year. It's one of those things that I really want to do, but I also want someone else to organise it.

But I'm a bit of a control freak, and Mesh definitely is. I don't know who we could hand it over to. Half of my brain is like 'yes do it, have a massive party' and the other half of it is 'well it's a waste of time and money'.

I just keep thinking about the day after when we wake up just the same - but poorer!" ..
