Week 2 around the NFL was chaos. Pure. Utter.

Chaos. Every week of the season, we'll assess the state of each roster with a particular focus on its weaknesses. By the end of the campaign, we'll have built a big board for every team based on its biggest needs and wants.

Everything from immediate holes to fill to the offseason player carousel of free agency and the 2025 NFL draft is taken into account. The weaknesses here are not just knee-jerk reactions to the weekend's games, but more an overarching assessment with both present and future roster-building in mind. All AFC teams are scouted by Alex Ballentine , and all NFC teams are scouted by Matt Holder .

Further analysis of every NFL roster will publish each Monday throughout the regular season. After an underwhelming NFL debut, it didn't take long for Marvin Harrison Jr. to bounce back and prove any doubters wrong.

The No. 4 overall pick made a resounding statement with four catches for 130 yards and two touchdowns in the Arizona Cardinals' win over the Los Angeles Rams. That pushes Arizona to 1-1 on the season and gives the team a strong divisional win.

Biggest Weaknesses: Add Now: OT Cam Fleming The Cardinals placed starting right tackle Jonah Williams on injured reserve last week, and Williams' timetable for return is unknown. Meanwhile, the team is thin at offensive tackle, so adding a veteran like Fleming as a backup would be a wise investment. Another option would be to sign someone like Charles Leno, who has exclusively lined up at left tackle throughout his career, and move Paris Johnson Jr.

back to the right side of the line for the time being. However, that could impact Johnson's development, so picking up Fleming—or another backup—and rolling with Kelvin Beachum at right tackle seems like the best course of action for everyone involved. 2025 Free Agency: EDGE Khalil Mack, Los Angeles Chargers Arizona has plenty of young talent on offense to be a playoff contender next season, but the team's defense needs a lot of work, especially when it comes to pass-rushers.

The good news is the front office is currently projected to have just under $120 million of cap space to play with during free agency this offseason, per Over The Cap . Mack, who turns 34 in February, won't have a long tenure in the desert, but he hasn't shown many signs of slowing down recently after logging a career-high 17 sacks in 2023 and registering 1.5 sacks in this year's season opener.

He could be just what the defense needs to compete in the AFC West, and the organization can afford to overpay him with the cap space it will have available. 2025 NFL Draft: DL Tyleik Williams, Ohio State Even though Monti Ossenfort made some additions to the interior defensive line last offseason, the position group is still pretty underwhelming overall. Adding the Ohio State product during the draft should be on the table.

Williams has plenty of potential with his combination of size (6'3" and 327 pounds), strength and movement skills. He can get pressure as a pass-rusher and is solid against double-teams in the running game. The Buckeye's primary issue is consistency with his pad level, but if he gets that down, he'll have a bright future in the NFL.

(Previous Week's Selections: CB Bradley Roby, CB Charvarius Ward, EDGE Jack Sawyer ) Check back for the Atlanta Falcons after Monday Night Football against the Philadelphia Eagles. A one-touchdown loss to the defending Super Bowl champions in Week 1 wasn't a cause for concern. But the Ravens took a step toward full-on panic mode with a 26-23 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders.

Baltimore had a 10-point lead in the fourth quarter and couldn't hold on to it. The offensive line struggled to protect Lamar Jackson, which isn't surprising given that the group is breaking in three new starters. The defense was also a disappointment, and it's fair to wonder if it will take a while to deal with the loss of three high-level coaches from this offseason.

Biggest Weaknesses: Add Now: Edge Azeez Ojulari, New York Giants (trade) The Ravens might have to make a bold move to help out their pass rush if they want to achieve their goals this season. The group was already shallow going into the season before Kyle Van Noy fractured his orbital bone and Adisa Isaac popped up on the injury report this week. Trading for Azeez Ojulari, who is in a contract year for a rebuilding Giants team, could give them another young pass-rusher with upside to chase quarterbacks.

2025 Free Agency: Teven Jenkins, Chicago Bears The Ravens offense is at its best with an elite offensive line. Their scheme has helped them to build that kind of unit even when the talent hasn't been the best. However, it becomes a lot easier when they have more talented players up front.

The Ravens are rolling with Andrew Vorhees and Daniel Faalele as their interior duo right now, but an upgrade could be in the cards next offseason. Teven Jenkins went from a first-round tackle prospect to a solid starting guard for the Bears. If the Ravens could tempt him to leave the WIndy City, it could be a big pickup for their offense.

2025 NFL Draft: RB Ollie Gordon II, Oklahoma State Derrick Henry is a short-term answer at running back, regardless of how well he plays this season. He's 30 years old, and his durability has already been remarkable for a running back with his career volume. The Ravens might have to look to the draft to find a new back to anchor the run game alongside Lamar Jackson.

Here's Damian Parson on the Oklahoma State back: "The Cowboys' lead RB thrives working downhill with his shoulders squared to the opposite end zone. Gordon runs with good power at full speed and contact balance. Gordon's limited lateral agility could hinder his effectiveness in the wide zone run schemes.

He is a strong fit for gap/power schemed offenses. Gordon is a volume runner who gets stronger as the game progresses. Combining his throwback frame and downhill play style, he gives a physical team a heavy hitter at the running back position.

" ( Previous Week's Selections : Edge Yannick Ngakoue, WR Amari Cooper, DL Walter Nolen ) Reports of the Buffalo Bills' demise were greatly exaggerated. The offseason was filled with questions about how they would handle losses on the defense and the depletion of the receiver corps. As it turns out, they are still a pretty good football season.

The Bills moved to 2-0 and established early dominance over the AFC East with a 31-10 win over the Dolphins. There are some things to patch up, but the Bills aren't going anywhere. Biggest Weaknesses: Add Now: LB Deion Jones The Bills had veteran linebacker Deion Jones come in during training camp before ultimately cutting him.

Hopefully they saved his number because the linebacker position continues to get thinner in Buffalo. Matt Milano might be gone for the season, and Terrel Bernard is expected to be out for a month after suffering a pec strain against the Dolphins. 2025 Free Agency: Edge Josh Sweat, Philadelphia Eagles One thing that's really working for the Bills right now is that Von Miller has his groove back early in this season.

He looked nearly cooked last season, but he's already getting after quarterbacks through two weeks of the season. However, Miller is 35 years old and he's had some serious injuries. They might have to spend some cash on finding another edge-rusher to partner with Greg Rousseau.

Clearly the Bills are still contenders in the AFC and should have resources to be even better next season. 2025 NFL Draft: CB Denzel Burke, Ohio State The Bills don't have a dire need at cornerback right now. They just held one of the most explosive receiver tandems to 10 points.

However, free-agent-to-be Rasul Douglas has been a big part of that, while Kaiir Elam doesn't seem like he's ever going to live up to his draft stock. Denzel Burke would have likely been at least a second-round pick had he left Ohio State last season. He's not done anything to change that evaluation and could even sneak into the first round.

( Previous Week's Selections: Edge Frank Clark, CB Deommodore Lenoir, S Malaki Starks ) It's a new season, but it doesn't look like much has changed from last year for the Carolina Panthers. The offense is still struggling with just 13 points scored through two weeks after only managing a field goal against the Chargers. Also, Bryce Young doesn't appear to be making many strides, throwing for under 100 yards and an interception on Sunday.

In other words, it's looking like it will be another long year in Carolina. Biggest Weaknesses: Add Now: DT Ross Blacklock Derrick Brown suffering a season-ending injury is a huge loss for the Panthers as he is their best defensive player. There is no replacing Brown's impact on the team, so the front office should use the extra roster spot as an opportunity to bring in another young defensive tackle and see if he can be part of the long-term plan.

Blacklock's career has been a failure to this point, but he once was a second-round pick with the potential to be a good pro. The odds are slim, but maybe Blacklock puts it together in Carolina and the team doesn't have much to lose at this point. This seems like a low-risk and potentially high-reward pickup.

2025 Free Agency: LB Willie Gay Jr., New Orleans Saints While Shaq Thompson has had an impressive tenure with the organization, his days in a Panthers uniform could be numbered. Thompson is an impending free agent and turns 31 in September, so the linebacker might be looking to play for a contender next year with his career winding down.

If that happens, Gay would be a decent replacement. He's a similar type of player as a highly athletic backer and has been good in coverage in the past with 19 passes defended during his first four years in the league. 2025 NFL Draft: WR Tetairoa McMillan, Arizona Even after spending a first-round pick on Xavier Legette this past April, Dan Morgan could use his top selection on a wideout during this year's draft.

Diontae Johnson's contract is set to expire, while Adam Thielen is getting old and only signed through 2025. The need is there, and the Wildcat's combination of size and speed could be appealing to Morgan. "McMillan blends height, weight, athleticism and agility," B/R's offensive skill positions scout Damian Parson wrote.

"He wins reps before the catch and after the catch. A wide receiver of his stature should not be as fluid of a mover as he is. He's most dangerous after the catch where he decelerates easily to make defenders miss in space and generate YAC.

" ( Previous Week's Selections: WR Kadarius Toney, CB Asante Samuel Jr., OT Kelvin Banks Jr. ) It's only been two games, but there's no denying Caleb Williams has been underwhelming for the Chicago Bears so far.

Williams has only thrown for 267 yards so far and had two interceptions in Chicago's loss on Sunday night. It's still early but the rookie has plenty of room for improvement to live up to the hype. Biggest Weaknesses: Add Now: C Connor McGovern The Bears have a pretty solid roster overall, but center is one of the few weak spots.

The team had a competition for the starting spot between Coleman Shelton and Ryan Bates, and neither is a particularly great option. It couldn't hurt to throw one more veteran in the mix on the practice squad at least. McGovern had a bad year with the Jets in 2023, but he's been a quality starter in the past and would at least give the club someone with 91 career starts to turn to if one of the two guys mentioned above don't step up.

2025 Free Agency: G Brandon Scherff, Jacksonville Jaguars While re-signing Teven Jenkins might be a priority for Ryan Poles this offseason, Jenkins is still an impending free agent at this stage. If he ends up walking in free agency, picking up someone like Scherff would be a wise investment. The 32-year-old might not have a long tenure in Chicago, but he'd at least be able to help keep Caleb Williams upright for a couple of years.

Scherff has been stout in pass protection throughout his 10-year career and is coming off a campaign where he surrendered just two sacks and 15 pressures, per Pro Football Focus . 2025 NFL Draft: OT Aireontae Ersery, Minnesota Braxton Jones is far from a bad left tackle, but the Bears could also upgrade the position this offseason. Also, Jones is only signed through 2025, and the Golden Gopher is a bit of a project anyway, so sitting for a year could be a good situation for him.

"Ersery has a nice blend of length, hand usage and play strength to latch onto rushers before they can string moves together, ending reps quickly in the process," B/R offensive line scout Brandon Thorn said. "He is also a skilled, well-versed run-blocker who routinely generates movement at the point of attack with flashes of sustaining against shiftier defenders. He will need to better protect his edge and recover out of compromising positions in pass protection to elevate himself past a solid-level prospect, but the tools and tape early in the year have been promising.

" ( Previous Week's Selections: DT Adam Gotsis, WR Tyler Boyd, S Malaki Starks ) The Bengals didn't win on Sunday, but it's a lot easier to feel good about what they did than it did in Week 1. After showing very little fight in a loss to the New England Patriots, the Bengals nearly bounced back with a win over the Kansas City Chiefs. The defending Super Bowl champions won on a last-second field goal that was set up by a Bengals penalty on fourth down.

Joe Burrow was much more willing to push the ball downfield and finished with 258 yards and two touchdowns. The defense just about did enough to get a win over one of the best offenses in the league. Things should be looking up with the Commanders and Panthers on tap.

Biggest Weaknesses: Add Now: DT Mike Purcell It's no surprise that the Bengals have had some offensive struggles. Joe Burrow is working himself back into the groove of live action, Ja'Marr Chase missed a lot of training camp and Tee Higgins has missed both games. There's not as much hope that the run defense will turn itself around.

Replacing D.J. Reader with Sheldon Rankins has yet to do much to help the problem.

Adding another veteran to their interior rotation might be a good idea, and Purcell is a free agent with 45 career starts. 2025 Free Agency: LB Nick Bolton, Kansas City Chiefs The Bengals got a close-up look at what Nick Bolton can do on Sunday. The linebacker would be a logical fit alongside Logan Wilson as a duo that would solve a lot of the Bengals' issues in stopping the run.

The 5'11", 237-pound thumper would go well with the 6'2", 245-pound Wilson as a tandem that can fill gaps downhill with the sideline-to-sideline speed to chase down plays as well. The Bengals were a Super Bowl threat when they paired a young, strong defense with an explosive offense. They need to invest in the defense to get back to that point.

2025 NFL Draft: WR Elic Ayomanor, Stanford The Bengals will need to take a close look at the 2025 receiver class. It was clear the offense missed Tee Higgins in Week 1, and it's likely this is his final year in Cincy. The Bengals are taking a risk in allowing him to walk, so replacing him through the draft will be crucial.

Elic Ayomanor is one of the few wide receivers in this class who could be considered for the job. At 6'2" and 210 pounds, he has the frame of an outside receiver and does a good job of fighting through contact and making contested catches. Combined with Jermaine Burton's ability to be a vertical threat out of the slot, the Bengals could have a good, young supporting cast around Ja'Marr Chase.

( Previous Week's Selections : WR Jason Brownlee, Edge Baron Browning, DT Tyleik Williams ) There weren't a ton of positive takeaways for the Browns in Week 1's disappointing loss to the Dallas Cowboys. There was a lot more to get excited about in their 18-13 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 2. The ground game was particularly good with Jerome Ford gaining 64 yards on seven carries and the group averaging 4.

3 yards on 29 carries. Deshaun Watson was uninspiring but didn't turn the ball over. That's all he needs to be for the Browns to win quite a few games when their defense plays the way it did.

Trevor Lawrence was sacked four times and completed less than half of his 30 pass attempts. Biggest Weaknesses: Add Now: S Ryan Neal Safety isn't a huge long-term need for the Browns. Grant Delpit and Juan Thornhill are a good enough combination for Cleveland to have a strong secondary.

However, Thornhill has been placed on injured reserve due to a calf injury. That will keep him out of the lineup for at least four weeks and impact the depth they have at the position. Ryan Neal remains unsigned after a rough season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last season.

He started 13 games but gave up a perfect passer rating of 158.3 when targeted. Still, he was solid for the Seattle Seahawks in 2022 and could be worth a look.

2025 Free Agency: LB Dre Greenlaw, San Francisco 49ers The Browns haven't prioritized off-ball linebackers, but they have become increasingly important since Jim Schwartz took over the defense. They actually paid good money to extend Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah before the season started, but they would be wise to put another athletic linebacker beside him. Dre Greenlaw's speed and athleticism are an underrated element to what the 49ers are able to do up front.

Bringing him to Cleveland would help ensure they have a dominant unit in 2025. 2025 NFL Draft: QB Quinn Ewers, Texas Unless Deshaun Watson shows exponential improvement in the coming weeks, it's hard to envision the Browns guaranteeing him the starting job for next year. Cutting him might not be an option thanks to a fully guaranteed contract that would create massive dead cap charges, but drafting another option and simply starting the rookie would be a way forward.

Quinn Ewers figures to be one of the top quarterbacks in this year's class. The Texas signal-caller has shown improvement every year he has started and is leading an explosive Longhorns offense toward a playoff bid early in the season. Ewers is considered week to week with an oblique strain.

( Previous Week's Selections : WR Kadarius Toney, OT Cam Robinson, WR Antwane Wells Jr. ) The Dallas Cowboys came into the weekend riding the high of a dominant road victory in the season opener. However, Week 2 was humbling for Mike McCarthy's crew as the Saints jumped out to an early lead and never looked back.

That leaves Dallas searching for answers at 1-1 with a matchup against Baltimore next week. Biggest Weaknesses: Add Now: LB Zach Cunningham While the Cowboys' linebackers played well in Week 1, they struggled to contain Alvin Kamara on Sunday. Kamara rushed for 115 yards (5.

8 yards per carry) and four touchdowns to go along with 65 yards and another score as a receiver. Cunningham could at least help slow down the running game, so he might be worth keeping around on the practice squad at least, just in case. 2025 Free Agency: WR Tutu Atwell, Los Angeles Rams Speedy wide receiver Brandin Cooks is an impending free agent and turns 31 years old at the end of the month.

Meanwhile, Dallas also has several other players whose contracts are about to expire and might be a bigger priority than Cooks. But if the wideout isn't retained, the offense will need a deep threat out wide. That's where Atwell can come in, as he's been known as a burner since coming out of college.

He'd be a downgrade from Cooks overall, but the 24-year-old who turns 25 next month would be a more salary cap-conscious addition and can at least threaten defenses down the field. 2025 NFL Draft: DL T.J.

Sanders, South Carolina Osa Odighizuwa is on a contract year, which could leave the Cowboys with a need for a 3-technique defensive tackle if he walks in the offseason. That should put the South Carolina product on the front office's radar during the draft process. "At 6'4" and 290 pounds, Sanders has good size and appears to have long arms," B/R scout Matt Holder said.

"The latter combined with his upper-body strength allows him to get extension and shed blocks as a run defender. The Gamecock also shows a solid hand-swipe move that he can get pressure with as a pass-rusher, giving him the potential to become a well-rounded player." ( Previous Week's Selections: CB Ahkello Witherspoon, DE Clelin Ferrell, IOL Tyler Booker ) Sean Payton continues to have his work cut out for him trying to make the Broncos offense a threat in 2024.

Bo Nix had another rough outing in a 13-6 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers that devolved into a rock fight as the game wore on. The Broncos were held scoreless for the first three quarters of the game, Nix was the team's leading rusher with 25 yards on four carries and the rookie threw two picks. On the bright side, the defense held the Steelers offense to just 4.

3 yards per play and gave up just one touchdown. Biggest Weaknesses: Add Now: RB Chris Rodriguez Jr., Washington Commanders Practice Squad The upside of the Broncos offense took a hit when they had to place rookie running back Audric Estime on injured reserve this week.

The rookie back was placed on the short-term version of the reserve, which means he will be out at least four weeks. He offered power running between the tackles that Javonte Williams and Jaleel McLaughlin don't. Chris Rodriguez Jr.

might be worth a look to take over that role. At 5'11" and 224 pounds, he has a similar thick frame and averaged 4.8 yards per carry on 51 carries with the Commanders last offseason.

2025 Free Agency: WR Chris Godwin, Tampa Bay Buccaneers The Broncos will have a little more breathing room next offseason as they get out from under the weight of Russell Wilson's dead cap charge. That should offer them the flexibility to be more active in free agency. One of the top priorities has to be helping out Bo Nix.

Improving the weaponry around him is one of the most important things they can do. Giving him a veteran wide receiver like Chis Godwin would be huge. Godwin is excellent in the slot and would give Nix stability and consistency within his receiver corps.

2025 NFL Draft: DT T.J. Sanders, South Carolina The Broncos turned to free agency and trades to fill out their defensive line over the last few offseason.

Zach Allen was signed two years ago, and they traded for John Franklin-Myers this offseason. The duo might give them good enough play this season, but they haven't been huge difference-makers thus far. Denver should be looking to continue building the position through the draft.

With veterans who can play the major roles, they would have the infrastructure to bring some prospects along. That would include South Carolina's T.J.

Sanders. ( Previous Week's Selections : IOL Elijah Wilkinson, S Jevon Holland, OT Will Campbell ) Despite Aidan Hutchinson racking up 4.5 sacks, the Detroit Lions couldn't follow up their Week 1 win over the Rams.

Two interceptions from Jared Goff and Chris Godwin's seven catches for 117 yards and a touchdown were too much to overcome, handing Detroit its first loss of the campaign. Biggest Weaknesses: Add Now: S Rudy Ford Ifeatu Melifonwu has been banged up to begin the campaign and Kerby Joseph missed Wednesday's practice with a hamstring injury. So it might be smart for the Lions to add another safety to the roster or practice squad just in case.

Ford would be a good option since he has experience lining up at free and strong safety and knows the NFC North well after spending the last couple of years in Green Bay. 2025 Free Agency: CB Charvarius Ward, San Francisco 49ers Even after using a first-round pick on Terrion Arnold during last April's draft, Detroit is likely going to be in the market for a starting cornerback this offseason since Carlton Davis and Emmanuel Moseley are impending free agents. The organization is also in win-now mode and currently projects to have about $77.

6 million of cap space, per Over The Cap , so addressing the need via free agency makes the most sense. Meanwhile, Ward will likely be one of the top players available at the position after surrendering a meager 62.3 passer rating when targeted and earning an 83.

3 coverage grade last season, according to Pro Football Focus . 2025 NFL Draft: IOL Tyler Booker, Alabama Kevin Zeitler is on a one-year deal and will be 35 years old in March. Brad Holmes will need to find a more long-term solution at right guard during this year's draft, and the Alabama product might be one of Holmes' top options.

"Enter the 6'5", 325-pound Booker, who brings jarring power and physicality to the guard spot," B/R offensive line scout Brandon Thorn said. "His middling recovery skills may cap his ceiling as a pro, but there are clear strengths to his game that should translate quickly, and with added refinement to his technique, he could see a similar sort of rise as recent second-round pick O'Cyrus Torrence." ( Previous Week's Selections: CB Ahkello Witherspoon, DT B.

J. Hill, OL Jonah Savaiinaea ) With Jordan Love out, the Green Bay Packers needed someone to step up offensively, and that player was running back Josh Jacobs this week. While Jacobs didn't find the end zone on Sunday, his 151 rushing yards went a long way toward Green Bay's 16-10 win over the Indianapolis Colts.

That puts the Cheeseheads at 1-1 with a winnable matchup against the Titans in Week 3. Biggest Weaknesses: Add Now: IOL Mason Cole The interior of the Packers offensive line lacks experience and depth, as rookies Jordan Morgan and Jacob Monk were listed on the depth chart as the team's two backup options. Cole is average, but his 73 starts and six years in the league would at least give the offense a veteran to turn to in a pinch.

2025 Free Agency: DT Folorunso Fatukasi, Houston Texans T.J. Slaton is about to hit free agency, and his departure would leave Green Bay with a need for a gap-filling defensive tackle.

At 6'4" and 318 pounds, Fatukasi could be a potential replacement as he's served a similar role with the Texans. Last year, the 29-year-old had three tackles for loss and 20 defensive stops , per Pro Football Focus . 2025 NFL Draft: CB Tacario Davis, Arizona As mentioned in previous weeks, Brian Gutekunst will likely be looking to spend a high draft pick on a cornerback this spring with Eric Stokes' and Corey Ballentine's contracts about to expire.

Meanwhile, the Arizona product projects to be one of the top prospects at the position in this year's draft class. "Davis is an instinctual corner who utilizes his 6-foot-4 frame to disrupt receivers in all phases of the game, showing to be an impactful defender on the perimeter of the defense," The Draft Network's Keith Sanchez wrote. "Davis' best reps as a defender come with him in zone coverage.

In zone coverage, Davis has multiple alignments and techniques. He can play press, bail, or off-coverage to mix up looks and present a different issue for both the quarterback and receiver." ( Previous Week's Selections: QB Ryan Tannehill, CB D.

J. Reed, OT Aireontae Ersery ) The Texans had an opportunity to stand out on Sunday Night Football and they took advantage with a 19-13 win over the Bears. It wasn't a blowout and there are some things to clean up, but the roster is definitely built to compete.

The Texans defense was particularly encouraging. They gave up just 13 points to a team that is figuring itself out on offense but has some good talent. Limiting D'Andre Swift to just 18 carries on 14 yards is a good sign that the Texans have the defensive fortitude to win games against some of the better offenses they'll see.

. Biggest Weaknesses: Add Now: CB/S Patrick Peterson Patrick Peterson is probably only interested in playing at 34 years old if it means playing on a contender. If the Texans want to become a contender, they probably need to add a little more depth in the secondary.

Thus, a mutually beneficial relationship between Peterson and the Texans could be born. The Texans had to place Jeff Okudah on injury reserve on Wednesday and also had to play without M.J.

Stewart at safety. Peterson brings a ton of experience and even played a little bit of safety with the Steelers last season. 2025 Free Agency: DT Javon Kinlaw, New York Jets DeMeco Ryans was not shy about his belief in Javon Kinlaw back when he was coaching with the San Francisco 49ers.

Unfortunately, the 2020 first-round pick couldn't stay healthy and didn't look great when he was with the team that drafted him. However, Robert Saleh took a chance on the interior defensive lineman and is starting to see the fruits of that investment. Kinlaw has played well in two games with the Jets this season, but it's not a foregone conclusion he will be re-signed.

If he isn't, there's another former Niners assistant that would probably like to have him. 2025 NFL Draft: IOL Earnest Greene III, Georgia The Texans have Shaq Mason, Juice Scruggs and Kenyon Green working as their interior trio right now. Mason is still playing well, but he'll be 32 years old.

Scruggs and Green are both young players still working to prove themselves. If would be surprising if Houston feels good enough about the trio to not add a notable talent to the room. Earnest Greene III is putting together a good campaign for the Georgia Bulldogs this season and should see his stock rise if his play continues.

( Previous Week's Selections : CB Kalen King, IOL James Daniels, DT Deone Walker ) Anthony Richardson is bound to have some rough days as he tries to adjust to life as a franchise NFL quarterback. Sunday was one of those days as he completed less than 50 percent of his passes and threw three interceptions. Meanwhile, the Packers found a way to win even without their starting quarterback.

Malik Willis threw the ball just 14 times while the Packers averaged 4.9 yards per carry as a team. Biggest Weaknesses: Add Now: CB Jonathan Jones, New England Patriots (trade) The secondary looked like an issue on paper before the season started.

Having JuJu Brents and Julian Blackmon both on the sidelines with injury has only made matters worse. The Colts have aspirations of competing in an AFC South that is full of younger teams trying to take the next step. Making a move for a veteran like Jonathan Jones could help them.

Jones is a solid veteran cornerback who is in the final year of his contract with the Patriots. New England is not expected to be a factor this season. The Colts should call and see what it would take to add Jackson to their roster and the Patriots could improve their 2025 draft stock.

2025 Free Agency: S Jevon Holland, Miami Dolphins The Colts will have some really important decisions to make about their secondary next offseason. They brought back Julian Blackmon on a one-year deal, and the other safety spot is far from settled. With plenty of cap space in 2024, they'll have the opportunity to pursue some high-impact free agents if they want to.

Jevon Holland is likely to have a good market. He's an emerging talent who has been playing well for the Dolphins. He'll only be 25 years old if and when he can be signed next offseason.

Paying up for him would give the Colts a definitive answer at one of the spots next year. 2025 NFL Draft: DB Jahdae Barron, Texas Sticking with the general theme of adding talent to the secondary, the Colts could and should be looking at safeties and cornerbacks in this draft class. That would include Jahdae Barron.

B/R's Cory Giddings likes the versatility that he sees in the 5'11", 200-pound defensive back. "He's an experienced player who can play any position on the back end of the defense," Giddings noted. Barron has played outside corner, slot and in the box for the Longhorns this season.

The Colts could use his versatility as they fill in the gaps of a young secondary. ( Previous Week's Selections : RB Miles Sanders (trade), CB Rasul Douglas, TE Luke Lachey ) The Jaguars moved to 0-2 on the season, and the offense's inability to find answers to the Browns' dominant defense was a big reason. The Jags offensive line struggled to protect its quarterback as Trevor Lawrence was sacked four times and hit seven times.

Things aren't going to get any easier for Doug Pederson and Co. They have Buffalo on the road next week and a matchup with Houston the week after. Biggest Weaknesses: Add Now: DT Adam Gotsis Sometimes you just have to go back to the well.

Adam Gotsis played the last four seasons with the Jaguars. He started out as a consistent starter on the defense before taking a back seat to younger talents. The Jags brought in Arik Armstead while drafting Maason Smith and Jordan Jefferson.

It didn't leave much room for the soon-to-be 32-year-old in the rotation. The problem is that Tyler Lacy, Jefferson and Smith were all out this week with various injuries. Gotsis isn't going to be a game-wrecker, but he will elevate the floor of the group when injuries strike.

2025 Free Agency: Edge Darrell Taylor, Chicago Bears If the Jaguars are going to build a legitimate AFC contender, it will take an elite defense. Specifically, it will take an elite pass rush. That means finding options who can get after the passer outside Josh Hines-Allen and Travon Walker.

That's a great one-two punch, but it requires at least a few high-level backups to create the kind of front that gives offenses nightmares. Darrell Taylor got off to a great start with the Chicago Bears last week with two sacks in Week 1. At 267 pounds, he has enough size to hold up on the edge and also the bend and burst to also be a problem as a pass-rusher.

2025 NFL Draft: DB Sebastian Castro, Iowa Sebastian Castro caught the nation's attention as a play-making defensive back with three interceptions, eight passes defended and a forced fumble for the Iowa Hawkeyes last season. He already has another forced fumble this season. The slot corner is sticky in coverage and drew praise from B/R's Cory Giddings for his toughness.

"Stout player against the run, who also shows the athleticism to play in space," Giddings said of the Hawkeye. The Jaguars are leaning on their safeties to cover the slot a lot right now. Castro would give them another option and improve the attitude and physicality of their defense.

( Previous Week's Selections : Edge Azeez Ojulari (trade), IOL Trey Smith, DT Nazir Stackhouse ) Great teams find a way to win the close ones. The Chiefs don't exactly have to prove that they're a great team, but they gave another example of it on Sunday in a 26-25 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. Joe Burrow and Co.

were much improved after a disappointing loss in Week 1, but the Chiefs still made sure they got the last laugh in another classic entry in a rivalry that characterized the top of the AFC in recent years. The team continues to look primed for a serious run at a third consecutive championship. Biggest Weaknesses: Add Now: RB Frank Gore Jr.

, Buffalo Bill practice squad It wasn't all sunshine and rainbows for the Chiefs. Isiah Pacheco left the game in the fourth quarter with an ankle injury and he reportedly left the stadium with crutches and a walking boot. That could be a serious blow to the Chiefs offense, Pacheco has become the featured back in the offense and his hard-charging running style won't be easy to replace.

Frank Gore Jr. is a powerful runner that could contribute as part of a rotation. He doesn't have the breakaway speed that Pacheco brings to the table, but he's a patient runner with the ability to get yards between the tackles.

2025 Free Agency: WR Tyler Johnson, Los Angeles Rams The Chiefs' wide receiver outlook is better than it was last year. Rashee Rice seems to be picking up right where he left off, and Xavier Worthy is already making plays. However, Rice could face a suspension next season for his off-field actions this offseason, and the injured Marquise "Hollywood" Brown's contract is just one year.

The Chiefs could be on the lookout for high-upside receivers again next offseason. Tyler Johnson hasn't done much, but he's shown his potential early in the season with the Rams. Perhaps he earns a bigger contract with the Chiefs next season.

2025 NFL Draft: Edge Princely Umanmielen, Ole Miss What do you get for the team that has everything? The Chiefs have one of the best rosters in the league, and the deficiencies are covered by the best head coach-quarterback tandem in the league. One thing every team needs more of is pass-rush depth. The Chiefs could look for that in the draft ,and Princely Umanmielen does a lot of things that are will get him noticed by scouts.

Here's B/R's Matt Holder on what he's seeing from him so far: "Umanmielen has a good combination of strength and athleticism. That allows him to get extension and shed blocks as a run defender and develop a solid arsenal as a pass-rusher. He also sets up his inside moves well by selling the vertical rush with his first few steps and has the change of direction to win across the offensive tackle's face.

However, Umanmielen does lack some bend and can struggle to sink his hips and anchor to avoid getting washed out of his gap when slanting." ( Previous Week's Selections : None, S Trevon Moehrig, DT Dontay Corleone ) Week 1 was a reflection of the pessimistic view of the Raiders' 2024 season. Week 2 showed us the glass-half-full vision of the Silver and Black.

Gardner Minshew II played well enough to get the offense going and allow the Raiders to complete a 10-point fourth-quarter comeback to get to 1-1 with a win over the Baltimore Ravens. Maxx Crosby has to get the game ball. He's getting his Defensive Player of the Year campaign kicked off early with two sacks, four tackles for loss, a pass deflection and two quarterback hits against Lamar Jackson and the Ravens.

Biggest Weaknesses: Add Now: CB Xavien Howard It's kind of amazing that Howard hasn't been signed yet. He was a solid starter for the Miami Dolphins last season at a position where it isn't always easy to find solid starters. Even if he's dealt with some injury issues, he's been a good player when he's been on the field.

That's something the Raiders could use. They are relying on a lot of young guys to take the next step in their development. Signing Howard would give them a good option if someone like Jakorian Bennett doesn't take the next step.

2025 Free Agency: RB Jaylen Warren, Pittsburgh Steelers The jury is still out on whether Zamir White is going to be a true feature back for the offense. Alexander Mattison has proven himself to be best-served as a No. 2 back.

That leaves the position as one that could be reviewed at the end of the season. Meanwhile, Jaylen Warren looks like he might not be a fit in Arthur Smith's vision for the Steelers offense. If he doesn't put up better numbers this season, he might be available for less money than you'd think.

A run with the Silver and Black could be beneficial for both sides. 2025 NFL Draft: Edge Jack Sawyer, Ohio State Malcolm Koonce's potentially season-ending knee injury throws a real wrench in the Raiders' plans at the position. He was one of the most encouraging breakout players over the last half of the season in 2023.

This was supposed to be the season that he earned a big new contract. Instead, it's unclear how good he will even be next season. The solution might be to go back to the draft to find another edge-rusher.

Jack Sawyer has a strong track record of production at Ohio State. The 6'5", 260-pound edge-rusher is a good run defender with heavy hands to collapse pockets. ( Previous Week's Selections : Edge Rasheem Green, OT Jedrick Wills Jr.

, CB Shavon Revel ) A day against the Carolina Panthers is starting to look like a confidence boost for just about any NFL team and the Chargers got their turn during Week 2. J.K.

Dobbins had another big day on the ground with over 100 yards and a touchdown for the second consecutive week. Quentin Johnston also showed signs of life under Jim Harbaugh's new regime. He caught two touchdown passes on Sunday.

Justin Herbert hasn't even had to do too much, but the Chargers are going into Week 3 with a 2-0 record. Biggest Weaknesses: Add Now: WR Robert Woods, Houston Texans (trade) Jim Harbaugh's teams are always going to find their identity in running the ball. You could see that in the way the Chargers approached the receiver position this offseason.

But, at some point, you have to give your quarterback some help. The Chargers are looking for a lot of young players to step up, and the position got even thinner with DJ Chark going on the injured reserve. Joshua Palmer was banged up and on the injury report with a knee injury.

It would be wise to get ahead of any more depth issues by trading for a veteran in Robert Woods who is a depth piece with the Texans right now. 2025 Free Agency: LB David Long Jr., Miami Dolphins Denzel Perryman is 31 years old and has a lot of miles on the odometer.

The Chargers' days of counting on the veteran are likely numbered, but it's not clear that Daiyan Henley and Junior Colson are ready to man the linebacker room by themselves. Targeting another veteran in free agency might be a necessity. David Long Jr.

plays the position with a certain brand of violence and speed that Harbaugh should love. The Dolphins only have him under contract for one more season and have a tight financial situation, so he might be looking for a new team next season. 2025 NFL Draft: WR Antwane Wells Jr.

, Ole Miss The Chargers spent an early draft pick on Ladd McConkey and haven't given up on Quentin Johnston just yet. Still, it's going to take continued investment to build an NFL-caliber group of receivers in Los Angeles. Spending another early pick on a player like Antwane Wells Jr.

could help. Here's B/R's Damian Parson breaking down what he sees in Wells right now: "Ole Miss' new wide receiver Antwane Wells Jr. (Juice) is a talented run-after-the-catch weapon.

Wells is well put together with a proportionate and compact frame. He possesses good play strength to fight through the initial contact and break free for extra yards. Wells can align in multiple positions and threaten different levels of the defense.

For teams that need a pass-catcher who can take a five-yard slant and turn it into 20 or 30 yards down the field, Wells is the receiver they must keep an eye on." ( Previous Week's Selections : WR Corey Davis, DT Milton Williams, RB Omarion Hampton ) The start of the season couldn't have gone much worse for the Los Angeles Rams. Not only is the team 0-2 after getting blown out by the Cardinals on Sunday, but the injuries keep piling up as star wide receiver Cooper Kupp was the latest to go down.

It's still early, but it's starting to feel like the campaign is already spiraling out of control for Los Angeles. Biggest Weaknesses: Add Now: IOL Mason Cole Week 1 was brutal for the Rams as not only did they suffer a loss, but they also placed several players on injured reserve this past week. There are plenty of position groups to address here, but the offensive line got hit the hardest with Steve Avila and Joe Noteboom getting put on the shelf.

Avila's injury leaves the offense very young at center, so picking up Cole, who has 73 career starts, would be a smart move to add some experience to the line. Also, it helps that he has lined up at both guard spots, too. 2025 Free Agency: LT Garett Bolles, Denver Broncos Staying within the trenches, Noteboom and Alaric Jackson are impending free agents this offseason.

So Los Angeles might be looking for a new left tackle in the offseason, and Bolles is a solid option. He's been stout in pass protection throughout his career, recording pass-blocking grades from Pro Football Focus in the 70s or better from 2017 to 2023. 2025 NFL Draft: CB Denzel Burke, Ohio State Especially with Tre'Davious White only on a one-year deal, Les Snead will likely be looking for some cornerback help in the draft this April.

Meanwhile, the Buckeye projects to be one of the top prospects at the position and was given a second-round grade by B/R's scouting department last year before he opted to return to school. "Burke is a versatile pass defender who plays in both man and zone schemes for the Ohio State secondary," defensive backs scout Cory Giddings said . "In man coverage, he shows the lateral movement needed to keep leverage combined with the top-end speed to run and carry receivers deep.

He has fluid enough hips to swivel and quick feet to get out of breaks. Burke shows a very good burst when driving on the ball." (Previous Week's Selections: LB Zach Cunningham, TE Juwan Johnson, OT Emery Jones ) Things could not have gone much worse for the Miami Dolphins in Week 2.

Not only were they handed a 31-10 loss by the Buffalo Bills in their own division, but quarterback Tua Tagaovailoa suffered another concussion. Raiders coach Antonio Pierce was among the voices who have already wondered if Tagovailoa might need to consider retirement after suffering his third concussion in the last three years. Biggest Weaknesses: Add Now: QB Ryan Tannehill The Dolphins aren't making any statements about when or if Tagovailoa will return to action.

The 26-year-old's health is obviously the most important concern. Miami also seems content to stick with backup Skylar Thompson as the starter until it figures out what its quarterback's next steps are. However, the former seventh-round pick hasn't done a lot to prove that he's going to be a capable starter even in a pinch.

The Dolphins organization might want to see what Ryan Tannehill is up to. The 36-year-old was serviceable within the Titans offense last season, and the Dolphins have a better supporting forecast for him to work with. 2025 Free Agency: S Tre'von Moehrig, Las Vegas Raiders The Dolphins will have to hope that they don't lose Jevon Holland in free agency.

He has become a staple in the secondary and will want to get paid like it in the offseason. If the team doesn't feel like paying that kind of money for Holland, then Tre'von Moehrig would be a good backup plan. He has put together some up-and-down seasons with the Raiders but is still a starting-caliber player.

2025 NFL Draft: DL Nic Scourton, Texas A&M The Dolphins are missing having a dynamic defensive player on the interior like Christian Wilkins. The Bills were able to run the ball at will against the Dolphins defensive front. Jaelan Phillips and Bradley Chubb are a strong foundation for the defensive line, but the Dolphins are relying on Zach Seiler and Calais Campbell to hold down the inside.

Nic Scourton is a unique prospect as a 280-pounder who plays out on the edge. However, his ability to kick inside and play multiple roles could be what the Dolphins need to get to the next level. ( Previous Week's Selections : OL Lucas NIang, TE Juwan Johnson, IOL Tate Ratledge ) The Minnesota Vikings are proving a lot of doubters wrong so far this season.

Not much was expected of Minnesota in 2024, but the team is 2-0 after pulling off a major upset over the San Francisco 49ers. Justin Jefferson made the play of the day in the NFL with a 97-yard touchdown catch in the second quarter to help set the tone for the game. Granted, Jefferson did exit early with a quad injury, but he seems to have avoided a major injury, telling reporters he'll be "ready to go" for next week.

Biggest Weaknesses: Add Now: WR Russell Gage While Jordan Addison's ankle injury isn't believed to be serious, he did miss Week 2, and Jefferson is banged up as well. It would be smart for the Vikings to add another wide receiver to the active roster or practice squad just in case. Having a five-year veteran like Gage, who has nearly 250 career catches for 2,500 yards and 14 touchdowns, on hand wouldn't be a bad idea.

2025 Free Agency: S Tre'von Moehrig, Las Vegas Raiders Even if Minnesota re-signs Cam Bynum this offseason, the team could still use some safety help since Harrison Smith is an impending free agent. The 35-year-old, who turns 36 in February, even said he was contemplating retirement last spring. Meanwhile, Moehrig will be one of the top free agents at the position and will help the team's defense get younger.

He turns 26 in June and is coming off a career year with personal bests in interceptions ( three ), passes defended (eight) and total tackles (83). 2025 NFL Draft: RB Quinshon Judkins, Ohio State Aaron Jones is only on a one-year deal and turns 30 in December, so the Vikings will likely be looking for a running back in the draft. The Ohio State product should be on the front office's radar, as his ability to make defenders miss is top-notch.

"Judkins is among the most talented ball-carriers in college football," B/R's offensive skill positions scout Damian Parson wrote. "He presents an NFL-ready frame at 215 pounds with the contact balance to match. "Judkins is a difficult RB to tackle once he breaks containment.

He has forced nearly 160 missed tackles in his career. Between his elusiveness in space and contact balance, Judkins is a consistent yards-after-contact weapon. "Due to lack of usage, his receiving profile is incomplete, but he's displayed the capability to make plays in the passing game with soft hands as a receiver out of the backfield.

" ( Previous Week's Selections: CB C.J. Henderson, DL Osa Odighizuwa, CB Will Johnson ) The Patriots continued to outplay expectations in Week 2.

They almost earned their second win under Jerod Mayo, but had to settle for a 23-20 overtime loss to the Seattle Seahawks. The passing defense continues to be a concern after Geno Smith threw for 327 yards on 33 completions. The ground game is working just fine for the Patriots.

Antonio Gibson carried the ball 96 yards on 11 carries against the Seahawks. Rhamondre Stevenson had 81 yards and a touchdown last season. Biggest Weaknesses: Add Now: IOL Max Garcia Everything the Patriots can do to improve the potential supporting cast for Drake Maye is a good idea right now.

Maye should start by the end of the season, but the Patriots need to guarantee better protection and weapons than they have right now. That's especially hard to do when the offensive line is banged up. Sidy Sow was sidelined with an injury, Mike Onwenu has moved out to tackle and the Patriots are starting a rookie in Layden Thompson at right tackle.

It wouldn't hurt to add an experienced veteran like Max Garcia to bolster their depth. 2025 Free Agency: IOL Teven Jenkins, Chicago Bears The Patriots' priority next offseason will be building around Drake Maye. That means doing what they can to reinforce the offensive line.

Someone like Garcia might be able to help now, but Teven Jenkins would give them a definitive upgrade on the inside. The former tackle has developed into a consistent starter on the inside. His ability to clear run lanes and keep his quarterback clean could help them take the next step next season.

2025 NFL Draft: LB Harold Perkins Jr., LSU There are questions about what position Harold Perkins Jr. will play in the league.

Those who were burned on evaluations of Zaven Collins, Isaiah Simmons and the like might be scared off. However, it's hard not to believe in Perkins' ability as a blitzer who can flat out torch opposing offensive linemen. He's hard to project with a 6'1", 225-pound frame, and it's going to take a creative defensive coordinator to fully unleash his potential.

Jerod Mayo just might be the right fit. ( Previous Week's Selections : G Mark Glowinski, DT Alim McNeill, CB Tacario Davis ) The New Orleans Saints have proved a lot of doubters wrong during the first two weeks of the season. The team hasn't even been tested yet, outscoring opponents 91-29 after dominating the Cowboys 44-19 on Sunday.

Alvin Kamara was especially strong in Dallas, racking up 180 yards and four touchdowns. So far, New Orleans has been the most impressive club in the NFL. Biggest Weaknesses: Add Now: G Mark Glowinski Left guard was a trouble spot for the Saints heading into the campaign, and Lucas Patrick leaving the season opener with an injury doesn't help matters.

Especially with Justin Herron getting placed on injured reserve, the offense could use another veteran backup option at the least. Glowinski would be a good pickup since he's a nine-year pro who has experience coming off the bench and can play on the right side too if needed. 2025 Free Agency: S Mike Edwards, Buffalo Bills New Orleans could use some help at safety right now, and Tyrann Mathieu is only signed through 2025, so the position could be a point of emphasis in the offseason.

While Edwards hasn't been a huge difference-maker so far in his career, he's solid in several areas of the game including covering the slot, playing in the box and protecting the deep part of the field. The 28-year-old, who turns 29 in May, fits the do-it-all type of player that the organization seems to covet at the position and should be a cost-effective pickup. 2025 NFL Draft: OL Emery Jones Jr.

, LSU Ryan Ramczyk's future is uncertain, Trevor Penning is only signed through 2025, and Patrick is on a one-year deal. Mickey Loomis might be looking for some offensive linemen in the draft, and Jones would be a good target seeing as he's played right tackle and could be a candidate to switch to guard in the NFL. "Jones would be a bit of a stretch to play tackle and may need to kick inside to guard as a pro due to shaky movement skills, footwork and overall technique as a pass protector," B/R offensive line scout Brandon Thorn said.

"But his size and raw power fit into the general mold that a lot of teams prefer in their linemen." ( Previous Week's Selections: CB Tre Herndon, EDGE Dayo Odeyingbo, TE Oscar Delp ) While the New York Giants showed signs of growth on Sunday, this season has gotten off to a rough start after losing two games in as many weeks. This recent one really stung as New York dropped a divisional matchup to the Washington Commanders.

However, the one silver lining for the G-Men is rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers had a good outing, catching 10 passes for 127 yards and a touchdown. Biggest Weaknesses: Add Now: WR/KR Jamal Agnew With Gunner Olszewski out for an extended period, the Giants could use some depth at wide receiver and another returner on the roster. Ihmir Smith-Marsette could help fill those roles, but Agnew has a better track record as a returner with four career punt return touchdowns and two on kickoffs.

2025 Free Agency: DT Osa Odighizuwa, Dallas Cowboys Outside of Dexter Lawrence, New York could use some help on the interior defensive line. Rakeem Nunez-Roches has never been much more than an average player throughout his career and will turn 32 next summer while the club could save $3.6 million of cap space by cutting him in the offseason, per Over The Cap .

Swapping out Nunez-Roches for Odighizuwa would give the team a significant upgrade at defensive tackle since the latter is coming off a career year where he logged 43 pressures and a 70.2 run-defense grade, according to Pro Football Focus . Also, he doesn't turn 27 until next August to add to the defense's collection of young and talented defensive linemen.

2025 NFL Draft: QB Quinn Ewers, Texas This is a pivotal season for Daniel Jones, and it hasn't exactly started well for him. The pressure for Joe Schoen to find a new quarterback is growing, and the Longhorn has had a strong start this fall that should catch Schoen's eye. "Ewers is among the best pure passing QB prospects in the 2025 NFL draft," B/R offensive skill positions scout Damian Parson wrote.

"He plays with poise, accuracy, and ball placement. Ewers' arm is NFL-caliber to pair with his plus-level athleticism. "He will fit nicely in the West Coast offense taking over the NFL with teams chasing coaches from the Kyle Shanahan and Sean McVay trees.

Ewers displayed he is capable of playing on time and off script. If he can stay healthy and keep this level of play up, expect to hear his name called in Round 1 of the NFL draft." ( Previous Week's Selections: S Rudy Ford, G Trey Smith, CB Benjamin Morrison ) The Jets officially picked up their first win with Aaron Rodgers at quarterback despite a modest stat line from the man himself.

Rodgers completed 18-of-30 passing attempts. There's still a long way to go. Rodgers came through when it mattered most, but the Jets offense was not overwhelming and the defense still has to play lights out to give the a chance every week.

Biggest Weaknesses: Add Now: Edge Haason Reddick or Another Edge-Rusher It's hard to classify the decision to trade for Haason Reddick as anything other than a mistake at this point. Sending away draft picks for an older player who isn't going to play without a new deal is not a great look with Reddick still not reporting to the team in search of a new contract. At this point, the Jets either have to give Reddick a new contract or make a trade.

That's especially true now that Jermaine Johnson has suffered a potentially serious injury. Ideally, they'd be able to swing a deal where they get another edge-rusher who can help right away. The Jets don't have the luxury of letting this situation drag on much longer.

2025 Free Agency: CB Deommodore Lenoir, San Francisco 49ers A lot of the Jets' recent success on defense can be attributed to the cornerback tandem of Sauce Gardner and D.J. Reed.

It's one of the best duos in the league. However, Reed is going to be a 28-year-old free agent who could cash in next season. Depending on what his contract will look like, the Jets might be willing to change course and target someone like Deommodore Lenoir.

He'll only be 26 years old and has started to prove that he's a worthy starter. 2025 NFL Draft: Edge James Pearce Jr., Tennessee The Jets apparently can't decide if they want to commit to Haason Reddick beyond this season.

With Quinnen Williams in the middle of the defense, having an elite quick-twitch edge-rusher would make New York's front even scarier than it already is. With Reddick heading toward 30 years old, it would make sense that they draft a player who has shades of Reddick in his game. At 6'5" and 243 pounds, he has a similar thin build for an edge-rusher, but he knows how to use his length and is an elite athlete.

( Previous Week's Selections : Edge Yannick Ngakoue, WR Chris Godwin, DT Kenneth Grant ) Check back for the Philadelphia Eagles after Monday Night Football against the Atlanta Falcons. Another week, another gritty win by the Steelers in which the defense deserves most of the credit. This was a spot that was circled before the season as the Russell Wilson revenge game, but it was Justin Fields who got the call to avenge his teammate while Wilson recovered from an aggravated calf injury.

The Field-led offense did just enough to get the 13-6 win and not much more. He completed 13 of his 20 pass attempts for just 117 yards. Still, the defense pitched a shut out in the first three quarters and picked off Nix twice.

Biggest Weaknesses: Add Now: IOL Calvin Throckmorton, Denver Broncos Practice Squad The Steelers' depth on the interior is being challenged with Isaac Seumalo's injury at left guard. They are starting Spencer Anderson, but it's worth exploring the available veteran options. Calvin Throckmorton wasn't great for the Panthers last season, but he didn't surrender a single sack on 564 snaps, per PFF .

2025 Free Agency: CB Rasul Douglas, Buffalo Bills Donte Jackson is working as the outside cornerback across from Joey Porter Jr. right now, but he only signed a one-year contract in free agency. Pittsburgh could easily move on from him if he doesn't outperform his deal.

The Steelers could look to the draft to find a corner to pair with Porter. It's likely to be a suggestion throughout the year. However, it would be wise to find a veteran who can play the role and allow the club to bring a young player along slowly.

That's a perfect fit for Rasul Douglas at this point in his career. 2025 NFL Draft: DT Deone Walker, Kentucky The Steelers tacked on two years to Cam Heyward's contract to end a holdout at the beginning of the season. Heyward is still playing at a high level, but it's hard not to feel like the interior will need to be addressed for the future.

The jury is still out on Keeanu Benton and other young Steelers defensive linemen. Deone Walker could become a fixture if the Steelers draft him. He's one of the most unique defensive prospects in this year's class with a 6'6", 345-pound frame and the versatility to be more than just a traditional 3-4 nose tackle.

( Previous Week's Selections : CB Tre Herndon, WR Darius Slayton, QB Cam Ward ) A week after looking dominant without Christian McCaffery during the season opener, the San Francisco 49ers were left with plenty of questions after dropping this Sunday's game to the Vikings. San Francisco's secondary struggled to contain Justin Jefferson, who rattled off 133 yards and a touchdown. However, the 49ers have a chance to get back on track next week with a trip to Los Angeles against the 0-2 Rams.

Biggest Weaknesses: Add Now: No one While Christian McCaffery was placed on injured reserve this week, Jordan Mason proved in Week 1 that he's more than capable of carrying the load moving forward. Also, Mason put together another 100-yard performance on Sunday. So, there's no reason for the team to add anyone at this point.

2025 Free Agency: LB E.J. Speed, Indianapolis Colts With Dre Greenlaw's and De'Vondre Campbell Sr.

's contracts about to expire, San Francisco will be looking for some linebacker help this offseason. Speed fits what the organization likes at the position as he's an impressive athlete, registering a 9.21 RAS out of 10 coming out of college.

Also, the 29-year-old who turns 30 in June shouldn't break the bank on the open market. 2025 NFL Draft: CB Jabbar Muhammad, Oregon With five cornerbacks about to hit free agency this offseason, John Lynch will likely be exploring the 2025 draft class at the position even after using a second-round pick on Renardo Green. Expect Lynch to take a look at what the Duck has to offer.

"Muhammad projects as a versatile CB with a starting skill set," Parson wrote for The Draft Network . "..

. Muhammad plays a sticky brand of coverage. Utilizing his intelligence, he works to stay in phase and in the hip pocket of the wide receiver.

Whether in the nickel/slot or outside, Muhammad impacts the game." ( Previous Week's Selections: G Max Garcia, G Robert Jones, DL Howard Cross III ) It hasn't been pretty, but the Seattle Seahawks are 2-0 and have the early lead in the NFC West with their 23-20 overtime win in New England on Sunday. Defensive tackle Leonard Williams was a big reason, accounting for four total tackles and 1.

5 sacks. Also, wide receivers DK Metcalf and Jaxon Smith-Njigba had 100-yard performances, contributing to the win. Biggest Weaknesses: Add Now: OT Tyre Phillips Abraham Lucas is already on the shelf after beginning the year on the PUP list, and George Fant missed this week's game with an injury.

So the Seahawks are getting pretty thin at right tackle. Picking up Phillips could help solve that issue seeing as he recorded nine starts at the position for the Giants last year. 2025 Free Agency: DT Khyiris Tonga, Arizona Cardinals With Johnathan Hankins set to be a 33-year-old free agent this offseason, Seattle will be looking for a nose tackle in the middle of its defense.

Tonga could be one option to fill that role since he has great size at 6'4" and 338 pounds and will be a younger option than Hankins at 29 years old. Also, the four-year pro shouldn't cost much on the open market, which is good for a club that is currently projected to begin the offseason with about $6.3 million of cap space, per Over The Cap .

2025 NFL Draft: LB Lander Barton, Utah John Schneider likes to target athletes at linebacker, and he'll likely be looking for one in the draft, seeing as Jerome Baker and Tyrel Dodson are only on one-year deals. Barton fits that profile, as he has a highly athletic family with two brothers who played in the NFL, an All-American volleyball player sister and parents who were student-athletes at Utah. That shows up on Lander's tape, as he has the movement skills to be effective in coverage.

Also, while his game isn't quite there yet, the Ute has the potential to grow against the run with his physicality and how he takes on blocks. ( Previous Week's Selections: CB Desmond King, WR Rondale Moore, IOL Tate Ratledge ) Dating back to last season, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers just have a knack for surprising people. Not many had Tampa Bay walking away from Detroit with a win, but Chris Godwin's seven catches for 117 yards and a touchdown helped lead the way as the team is 2-0 and tied with New Orleans for the early lead in the NFC South.

Biggest Weaknesses: Add Now: S Ryan Neal Antoine Winfield Jr. suffered an injury in the season opener and is expected to be out for at least a few weeks, leaving the Buccaneers thin at safety. Neal played for the team last year, so he should know the system.

Granted, he had a bad season in 2023, but at least he knows the defense and can help the team get by while Winfield is on the mend. 2025 Free Agency: LB Jerome Baker, Seattle Seahawks Starting linebackers Lavonte David and K.J.

Britt are impending free agents this offseason, so the front office will likely be looking for at least one second-level defender this spring if not two. Baker could be a good target on the open market as he's been good in coverage over the last few campaigns, surrendering a 92.3 pas.
