East Brainerd might be the area’s next up-and-coming neighborhood as local builder GreenTech Homes prepares for phase two of its development. The plans are designed to be a resurgence of the — aka, an emphasis on community-first planning. With 147 new homes + townhomes slated for this project (located right off East Brainerd and Jenkins Roads), we’re breaking down some highlights of what the neighborhood could look like.

This two-story, 2,250-sqft home features three bedrooms + 2.5 bathrooms. I love the dark paneling and brick design (just imagine the vibes during the colder months).

I’m sold after seeing it has a bonus loft that can be converted to anything, like a guest room. Another two-story home, spanning 3,200 sqft with five bedrooms + 3.5 bathrooms.

In case you couldn’t tell, I love brick exteriors on homes, it’s a classic look. My reasoning for buying? The dining room with a panoramic view from the windows surrounding the wrap-around porch, perfect for all hosting needs. This 2,500-sqft home features three bedrooms + 2.

5 bathrooms across its two stories. Personally, the design is giving me some serious Tim Burton vibes with its slanted roof. And I would definitely be most of my time in that living room with views of the park.
