Xara Jetly, who plays for Wellington Women in the New Zealand domestic circuit, revealed clicking a picture with Team India star Virat Kohli is a dream of hers and that she wants to share the picture on her Instagram account. New Delhi: New Zealand spinner Xara Jetly revealed she is a huge fan of Team India star Virat Kohli and it is one of her dreams to take a picture with the batting maestro and post it on her Instagram. Xara, who plays for Wellington Women in the New Zealand domestic circuit, picked Kohli when asked to name one player she would like to bowl against in men’s cricket.

Xara appeared on a podcast where she opened up on her aspirations to bowl against Kohli and also shared ‘her goal’ of taking an Instagram-worthy picture with the senior India batter. The 22-year-old was asked to name one batter each from men’s and women’s cricket that she would love to bowl against. While she admitted it was difficult for her to pick one name from the women’s game, Xara had no second thoughts about naming Kohli as the one batter she would want to bowl to from the men’s game.



The clip of Xara being in awe of Kohli and revealing her dream to take a picture with the Team India star has gone viral on social media. “Yeah, this is really basic for me. I’d bowl to.

..the women’s game is tougher, but in the men’s game, I wanna bowl to Virat Kohli.

59. While she is yet to make her international debut for New Zealand, Xara is a regular for the Wellington Women. She also did well in the New Zealand Cricket Women’s One Day Competition recently where she finished with 17 wickets in 11 matches at an excellent economy rate of 3.

71. The off-spinner will be hoping to make it to the national team soon and make her debut for the White Ferns..
