It’s an interesting time for video games. Xbox has a lot of console exclusives, and some of them came to PS5 earlier this year including the amazing Sea of Thieves and delightful Hi-Fi Rush. It’s been known that more Microsoft console exclusives are planned to join PlayStation, and the next Xbox exclusive coming to PS5 has possibly been revealed by a leaker “with 100% track record” .

There is a lot happening before the end of August. There is the release date for Black Myth Wukong , arguably the most anticipated game of the year, and there is also the upcoming release date for Star Wars Outlaws . Not only that, but Gamescom 2024 start date is right around the corner, and Microsoft has confirmed The First Descendant and a bunch of other exciting games for their three showcases.

Gamescom is always exciting, and rumors suggest Xbox will announce another console exclusive heading to PS5. Some games have been debunked, meanwhile, the exclusive heading to PlayStation has possibly leaked. New Xbox exclusive coming to PS5 leak Leaks suggest Microsoft is set to announce another Xbox console exclusive heading to PS5.

This announcement will reportedly happen during Gamescom Opening Night Live set to be hosted by Geoff Keighley on August 20th. This originally stems from Shinobi602 on ResetEra . In addition to claiming a new port will be revealed during Gamescom ONL, the often reliable insider stated that it is a “big one”.

Another reliable leaker, eXtas1s , responded to the above rumor with a gif seemingly implying Forza Horizon 5. However, Windowscentral says their source has indicated “Forza will not be announced for PlayStation next week”. While most of the speculation seems to involve Forza Horizon 5 and Starfield, another leak claims that it could be Microsoft Flight Simulator.

This comes courtesy of the GamingLeaksAndRumors subreddit sharing a link to Neogaf . On Neogaf, a Discord thread has been shared of a leaker with a “100% track record”. These messages from January show the leaker accurately spoiled Xbox games becoming multiplatform, as well as India Jones being first-person with Troy Baker as the voice actor.

They also leaked that the next DOOM game would not be exclusive to Xbox, which has proven true with DOOM The Dark Ages set to launch on PC, PS5, and Xbox. In addition to the above that have proven true, the leaker also suggested Microsoft Flight Simulator will be going multiplatform. This hasn’t come to fruition yet, but it could possibly be the port announced at Gamescom.

In other news, Konami has all but confirmed Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake will not be at Gamescom 2024 ..
