Eager fans of the critically acclaimed show have been treated to a glimpse of its highly anticipated season three. A new teaser for the next series of Mike White's drama was released on HBO's official page and a first look at the star-studded cast as they arrive at a luxury beach resort in Thailand. Among the new hotel guests at The White Lotus in Thailand are Patrick Schwarzenegger, Jason Isaacs and Aimee Lou Wood, alongside returning season one star Natasha Rothwell, who plays staff member Belinda.

The clip begins with a boat jetting across the sea before the camera switches to show the pool at the White Lotus. Another shot reveals a first look at some of the new cast members walking through the resort and reclining on sun loungers. A female narrator then whispers, ‘What happens in Thailand, stays in Thailand’.

There's also a glimpse at Rothwell as she arrives at the resort, whilst a final shot from the trailer reveals two cast members in the boxing ring, apparently coming to blows. Sharing the clip, the official social media account for HBO wrote, ‘New luxuries await you in Thailand.’ They went on to tease fans about the release of the programme, which is due out in 2025, adding, ‘Season three of the @HBO Original Series #TheWhiteLotus is coming soon to Max.

’ Viewers went wild as they commented on the post, with many saying they couldn't wait for the show to begin. One wrote, ‘Unprecedented levels of shaking.’ Another added, ‘Screaming and shaking.

’ Filming for the up-and-coming series began back in February, with The Four Seasons Resort in Koh Samui acting as a main backdrop for the drama in the series. At the time, production staff took to to share a picture of a slate being used on the first day of filming. They wrote, 'Unforgettable experiences are in the making at #TheWhiteLotus.

We are eager to welcome new guests to our resort in Thailand.’ During filming this year, stars of the show were spotted enjoying downtown on the island, with Arnold Schwarzenegger's son Patrick seen relaxing on the beach with his fiancée Abby Champion. The pair confirmed their engagement in December 2023 after eight years of dating.

The show’s first two series were shot in similarly luxurious Four Seasons Hotels in Hawaii and Sicily. Whilst no plot details have been released for the third season yet, it seems likely the story will follow a similar thread, with affluent guests enjoying a stay at a lavish resort. We do know that each season features a death, teased in the first episode, before flashing back to show the cast as they arrive at the resort.

The real question now is who will be the unlucky guest who could meet their ends at the White Lotus in Thailand...
