Vadodara: Dr Abhay Dharamsi has been appointed provost of Karamsad-based Bhaikaka University . With more than 40 years of experience in pharmacy education and teaching, Dharamsi, earlier dean at Parul University, has held positions on national panels, including the 7th pay review committee for the All-India Council for Technical Education, the peer team of NAAC and the selection committee of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). Dharamsi is known for his contributions to novel drug delivery systems, nano pharmaceuticals, and clinical and community pharmacy.

He holds multiple patents, has authored numerous research papers.
