For more than 15 years, Canadian carrier Porter Airlines has provided reliable and comfortable services between Canada and the New York metropolitan area. On Monday, the airline announced it was expanding its presence in this major market by launching a new service between Toronto and New York LaGuardia Airport. A new route for Porter's Embraer E2 Jets Porter Airlines (Porter) has announced it is increasing connections between Canada and the New York-New Jersey market.
Commencing on May 1, 2025 , Porter will operate a year-round service between Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) and LaGuardia Airport (LGA). The service will operate three times daily, except on Saturday and Sunday, when it will operate two times daily. It will be flown with Porter's new-generation 132-seat Embraer E195-E2 aircraft , providing passengers with an elevated travel experience with no middle seats and free, fast WiFi for everyone.
Passengers who have not traveled through LaGuardia recently will be pleasantly surprised as Porter will be based at the new, award-winning Terminal B, which has undergone a $5.1 billion redevelopment. The Porter service offers three convenient flights to choose from, with departures spread throughout the day.
The initial flight schedule will be: Departures from Toronto Pearson at 07:15, 14:50 and 19:25* (not Saturday) Arrivals at LaGuardia at 08:55, 16:30 and 21:05* (not Saturday) Departures from LaGuardia at 06:15* (not Sunday), 09:55 and 17:30 Arrivals in Toront.
