Shepherd’s Clothiers, a locally-owned men’s clothing store, is set to host their grand opening in the historic downtown district of Athens on Friday, Sept. 20, at 109 S. Marion St.
from 9 a.m. until 6 p.
m. Founded by a father-son duo, who are both Athens natives, Shepherd's Clothiers will offer a curated selection of menswear that reflects their commitment to making their customers feel confident in their clothes. “We’re thrilled to welcome Shepherd’s Clothiers to downtown Athens,” Athens Main Street Executive Director Tere Richardson stated in a news release.
“It’s especially inspiring to see this local couple turn their dream into reality. They believe that fashion is not just about clothes, but about confidence and self-expression. We’re confident you’ll love their beautiful shop and the unique pieces they offer” From a polo, for the next round of golf, to a jacket, for the upcoming fall and winter seasons — Shepherd’s Clothiers will have men’s clothing brands for everyday life, no matter the occasion.
For example, a sports coat for date night or a tuxedo for the big wedding day, Shepherd’s Clothiers will have plenty to offer their new customers in Athens. In celebration of their opening, Shepherd's Clothiers will hold a drawing for a gift card and give an exclusive “Grand Opening” sweatshirt to the first 20 customers who spend $100. The first 30 customers to pay any amount will also receive the store's “Grand Opening” mug.
Shepherd's Clothiers will also serve coffee, drinks and snacks all day long as they work to treat their customers on both the inside and out..
