GRAND RAPIDS, MI — Greyson Clothiers, a luxury clothing retailer with locations in Detroit, New York and Atlanta that focuses on golf and lifestyle apparel, is opening a store in downtown Grand Rapids this month. The 4,100-square-foot store, which will by Greyson’s third location in Michigan, will be located next to inside the Peck Building, 40 Monroe Center St. NW.
“Our Grand Rapids Wolf Den store will be uniquely curated with a selection of seasonal Greyson products for the whole family,” said Greyson Clothiers CEO Charlie Schaefer. Greyson Clothiers launched in 2015. It has Michigan locations in Detroit and Harbron Springs, as well as New Orleans, New York City, West Palm Beach, Atlanta, Denver and South Korea.
An exact opening date hasn’t been set, but the retailer may attempt a soft opening as early as this week, said Tyler Lecceadone, a senior vice president and principal at SeyferthPR, which issued the news release announcing the Greyson’s opening. One unique element to the Grand Rapids location is a “custom shop,” which the retailer describes as a “glass enclosure to offer guests the opportunity to customize hats and other wears while watching the process in action.” Greyson Clothiers is filling a spot in the Peck Building that has been vacant for three years and was formerly occupied by Rodolfo Gonzales Interior Design .
The Peck Building is owned by Rockford Construction. �.
