Saturday, November 30, 2024 Tianjin Airlines has inaugurated a significant international air route that connects Guiyang, the capital of Guizhou province, to Osaka, Japan. This development introduces a direct link between these two cities and is expected to bolster tourism, business, and cultural exchanges. As the only direct flight service from Guizhou to Osaka, this new route offers convenience and opportunity for travelers while marking a milestone in regional aviation.
The newly established air route, operated by an Airbus A320 aircraft, offers three round-trip flights per week. Departures from Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport are scheduled on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays at 11:15, arriving at Osaka’s Kansai International Airport at 16:00. The return flights leave Osaka at 17:15 and arrive back in Guiyang by 21:20, with a flight duration of approximately five hours.
This route is particularly significant as it provides the only direct connection between Guizhou and Osaka, creating a crucial link for travelers from the province. Tianjin Airlines, which already operates a direct route between Guiyang and Singapore, views this addition as another step in its effort to make Guiyang a key aviation hub in Southwest China. To make this new route even more appealing, Tianjin Airlines is offering a complimentary pickup service for passengers traveling from Guiyang to Osaka between November 29 and December 28, 2024 .
