Fortnite Chapter 5 – Season 4 brings new Medallions! This feature, which was first added in the current chapter, is a real game-changer in the right hands. Unsurprisingly, Epic Games released new Medallions with a Marvel-themed season. This time, we will be able to even become invisible while using one of them! For now, there are three of them available in the game, but Epic may release more of them throughout the season. What are new Fortnite Medallions? The most interesting Medallion in the new Fortnite season is certainly the Stealth Medallion. It grants temporary invisibility while crouching, which can be very useful.
It will likely be similar to Predator’s Cloaking Device, a Mythic item that was available in Chapter 2 – Season 5. Here are all the Medallions available in the new Absolute Doom season: Siphon Medallion – Grants Health and Shield Siphon from eliminating opponents. Stealth Medallion – Gives temporary invisibility while crouched.
Reveal Medallion -This Medallion occasionally reveals the location of nearby enemies. It will be interesting to see how well the community will receive these items. However, judging by the previous season, it won’t be surprising if Epic releases some balance changes for them in the first week.
We are hoping that this won’t be necessary, though, as none of the Medallions sounds overpowered. Furthermore, all of these mechanics were previously available in Fortnite . The new Fortnite season has brought many new items and abilities.
On top of this, the map has drastically changed, bringing new POIs and landmarks. Due to this, it’s certainly going to take a few days to get used to all the changes. Considering that this is the last season of Chapter 5, we also expect a new live event at the end of it.
