Friday, August 23, 2024 Air Astana launches direct flights from Astana to Phuket on October 26, enhancing connectivity with thrice-weekly service and daily flights from Almaty. Starting on October 26, 2024, Air Astana is set to initiate non-stop flights between Astana and Phuket, Thailand’s premier resort destination. This thrice-weekly addition complements the airline’s current schedule from Almaty to Phuket, which will increase from five weekly flights to daily service on the same date.
Flights departing from Astana will take off at 21:40 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, landing in Phuket at 07:45 the following morning. The return trips will leave Phuket at 09:30 on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, reaching Astana at 16:10. All times are local.
The journey to Phuket will take 8 hours and 5 minutes, while the return will take 8 hours and 40 minutes. These routes will be served by Airbus A321LR aircraft, featuring 16 business class seats and 150 economy class seats. The business class offers fully lie-flat seats, and the economy class includes ergonomically designed seats, both equipped with personal entertainment system screens.
