A Sussex craft beer success story, ABYSS Brewing, is set to launch an exciting new beer festival next year. Scheduled for early May 2025, the ABYSS Newhaven Beer Festival promises to celebrate the best of local and national breweries, marking another milestone for the brewery’s ongoing expansion. The festival will be held in Newhaven where ABYSS Brewing has already made waves with its popular summer pop-up bar.

The event will feature an extensive selection of beers from across the UK, as well as entertainment that has become synonymous with ABYSS. Andy Bridge, co-founder of ABYSS Brewing, said: "Newhaven has always appealed to us, so we jumped at the chance to set up at The Sidings this summer.

"We built a pop-up bar with eight taps, natural wines, low and no alcohol beers, and cocktails on the riverside deck, adding to the buzz of local events like BN9 and the Look Again Festival. "We will definitely be back in Newhaven next spring. We are looking to launch the ABYSS Newhaven Beer Festival, championing local and national breweries’ finest brews in early May.
