Thursday, August 15, 2024 Air Astana has launched a new route to Phu Quoc, Vietnam, offering direct flights from Almaty. This addition expands its network to popular Southeast Asian destinations. Starting on October 28, 2024, Air Astana will introduce a new route connecting Almaty with Phu Quoc, Vietnam.

Phu Quoc, known for its pristine beaches and clear waters, is a popular destination among global tourists. The route will be serviced by Airbus A321LR aircraft, initially offering flights twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays. In December, the frequency will increase to four times weekly.



The outbound flight will leave Almaty at 22:45 and arrive in Phu Quoc at 08:15. The return flights will leave Phu Quoc at 09:45 on Tuesdays and Thursdays, reaching Almaty at 15:50, all in local times. Round-trip economy fares, inclusive of all charges, begin at $699.

Tickets are available for purchase on the airline’s official website or through licensed travel agents. As of May this year, Kazakh citizens can enter Vietnam without a visa. Air Astana Group stands as the premier airline conglomerate in Central Asia and the Caucasus, leading in both revenue and fleet size, which includes 55 aircraft.
