A new £2 route has been launched from Gatwick Airport...
but don't expect any far-flung destinations. Passengers will be able to hop on a 420 bus towards Crawley or Sutton from the South Terminal after support from airport bosses. It forms an extension on the existing route which currently runs between Sutton and Whitebushes, in Surrey.

"This is just one of many positive changes we are making to our services, and we plan to bring residents more improvements like this in the near future.” The number of direct buses between Gatwick, Redhill and Crawley has increased with the new service - cutting back on changes across the region meaning it is easier for both tourists and commuters to get to their destination.
The 420 bus will no longer serve Whitebushes, which will continue to be served by the 460. During the day, the 420 will run every hour on the half hour. All passengers can still travel on the bus for £2 per single journey until the end of December.
