One of the most beloved stars from Gavin and Stacey, Ruth Jones, has secured a role in Harlan Coben's upcoming thriller set to premiere on Netflix. Jones, who co-created the BBC show and portrayed the unforgettable character Nessa, will feature in Coben's new series, Run Away. The 58-year-old actress is slated to play Elena Ravenscroft, sharing the screen with big names such as James Nesbitt, Minnie Driver and Alfred Enoch.

Run Away marks the thirteenth collaboration between Netflix and Coben, the mastermind behind successful productions like Fool Me Once, The Stranger and Missing You. The series is based on Coben's novel of the same title, with the author serving as executive producer through his company, Final Twist Productions, reports Wales Online . His absence from this latest endeavour will undoubtedly be felt by fans, as it has become somewhat expected fo.
