's brand-new mystery film has added some serious star power to its cast, with Ted Lasso's Hannah Waddingham and Memento's Guy Pearce joining the project. Based on Ruth Ware's bestselling mystery The Woman in Cabin 10, the film already boasts Love Actually's Keira Knightley in a leading role. The impressive ensemble cast also includes The Gentlemen's Daniel Ings, Skins actress Kaya Scodelario, Sherwood star David Morrissey and The Morning Show's Mbatha-Raw, promising a captivating viewing experience.

Netflix viewers can also look forward to seeing David Ajala, Art Malik, Lisa Loven Kongsli, Gitte Witt, Christopher Rygh and Pail Kaye join the already star-studded lineup, reports . The film is helmed by Simon Stone, who previously collaborated with Netflix on the critically acclaimed historical drama The Dig, starring Carey Mulligan, Ralph Fiennes, and Lily James. The Woman in Cabin 10 centres on a travel journalist, played by Knightley, who finds herself caught in a terrifying mystery while on assignment.



Netflix's Tudum sets the scene: "While on a luxury cruise for a travel assignment, a journalist witnesses a passenger tossed overboard late one night, only to be told that she must have dreamed it, as all passengers are accounted for." The streaming giant teases a suspenseful thriller, adding: "Despite not being believed by anyone onboard, she continues to look for answers, putting her own life in danger." Simon and Schuster's blurb for the upcoming novel teases readers with a tantalizing glimpse of the story, reading: "At first, Lo's stay is nothing but pleasant: the cabins are plush, the dinner parties are sparkling, and the guests are elegant.

"[But] Lo witnesses what she can only describe as a dark and terrifying nightmare: a woman being thrown overboard. The problem? "All passengers remain accounted for - and so, the ship sails on as if nothing has happened, despite Lo's desperate attempts to convey that something (or someone) has gone terribly, terribly wrong." Produced by Sister alongside Debra Hayward and with executive production by Sisters Ilda Diffley, the book's adaptation is creating buzz in the thriller genre.

The nail-biting screenplay is penned by Joe Shrapnel and Anna Waterhouse, known for their work on Snake Eyes. Although the edges of your seat should be well-worn in anticipation, Netflix has yet to unveil the launch date for The Woman in Cabin 10 but has teased that "arrival times will be posted promptly"..
