Earlier this year, CBS devastated viewers by announcing the NCIS spin-off was coming to an end after just three installments.

Starring Vanessa Lachey as team leader Jane Tennant, the action-packed show introduced a new team based in the South Pacific US state who solved naval crimes. Unfortunately, following a mixed response from fans, the series won’t be continuing for a fourth season, joining fellow axed offshoots NCIS: Los Angeles and NCIS: New Orleans . Fans will get a chance to enjoy the action all over again when the latest season, which wrapped up in May, gets released as a DVD box set on October 8.

Included in the special features are two exclusive specials lifting the lid on all the goings-on behind the scenes. The first is titled Ruah’s Rules: Directing NCIS and NCIS: Hawai’i.

This special will most likely shed light on NCIS: LA star Daniela Ruah.
