On the hit procedural show , Matt played Ned Dorneget, a probationary agent who was introduced in season nine's episode "Sins of the Father." He made a few recurring appearances throughout the show, with Ned becoming a full-blown agent in season 12.
However, Matt's time on the show was over shortly after his promotion. His character Ned died in an explosion set by Daniel Budd, the leader of The Calling, a terrorist group on the show - a choice that Matt himself asked for.
