Back in 2019, Navjot Singh Sidhu was removed as the judge of The Kapil Sharma Show post his controversial statement on the Pulwama Attack. He was replaced by Archana Puran Singh. After five years, the former cricketer and popular TV personality reunited with the comedian for an episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 2 that airs on Netflix.

Recently, in a new conversation, Navjot Singh Sidhu opened up about why he left TKSS for the first time. He described The Kapil Sharma Show as “a bouquet made by god" and recalled how everything “fell into place" when Kapil approached him to join the show.



When Navjot was asked about his exit from the show, he revealed that political reasons played a key role in it. “There were political reasons I don’t want to talk about. There were other reasons.

.. and the bouquet fell apart.

I have a wish that that bouquet must get together again, the way it was. I will be the first to facilitate. His show is still doing very well.

It all happened post the Pulwama attack when Navjot Sidhu had said, "For a handful of people, can you blame the entire nation and can you blame an individual? It (the attack) is a cowardly act and I condemn it firmly. Violence is always condemnable and those who did it must be punished".
