Natalie Portman boasts a decades-long career that began when she was a child actor in the ’90s. Over the course of more than 20 years, has appeared on several red carpets, from premieres to awards shows and more high-profile Hollywood events. As such, her style has completely evolved in that time.

Dior’s structural ensemble featured delicate beading and a contemporary design, with a black belt cinching the waist of Portman’s frame. While the piece seemed mostly modern, the inspiration for Dior’s 2025 cruise collection came from Clare Hunter, the textile expert and author of “Embroidering Her Truth: Mary Queen of Scots and the Language of Power.” 2019 For the 2019 Toronto International Film Festival premiere of her film “Lucy in the Sky,” Portman fashioned a one-shoulder, sleeveless Dior dress with a see-through bodice and lace detailing.

The floor-length gown also featured a flowing black skirt. 2013 At the 2013 London premiere of the film “Thor: The Dark World,” Portman opted for yet another Dior design. She wore a black cashmere long-sleeve top and with a silver metallic jacquard ball skirt courtesy of the designer.

2009 Portman’s approach to the 2009 Vanity Fair Oscar party was to think pink.
