Nashville’s BNA International Airport continues to expand. However, travelers looking to take advantage of Global Entry are left wanting, as the airport doesn't have a working office for the required in-person interviews. Travelers scrambling for alternatives The Nashville International Airport (BNA) continues its expansion, offering flights to international destinations such as Iceland and Ireland next year.
However, some travelers have had to deal with a few hiccups concerning the US Customs and Border Protection's ( CBP ) Global Entry program. Since the beginning of September, the BNA Global Entry office has been closed. Initially, the office was closed despite the website saying the location was open.
In the last four months, the status quo has remained, and BNA lacks the ability to process Global Entry applications. Because a federal agency runs the office, the airport management can't resolve the issue. The CBP requires an in-person interview to enroll in the Global Entry program.
Unfortunately for travelers, the nearest Global Entry location is 200 miles away in Memphis, Tennessee. The office has been closed as the CBP is looking for another location to host it. In the interim, they have closed the office at BNA.
