Friday, January 24, 2025 The Nashik-Jaipur flight service, which had been suspended for two months, is set to resume operations starting February 1. After a brief hiatus due to low visibility and technical challenges, the service, operated by IndiGo, is now back in action, and the demand for tickets has been overwhelmingly positive. Bookings for the first flight began on January 21, and by Tuesday afternoon, a significant number of seats had already been reserved.
This early surge in bookings caused the fare for the first flight to increase to Rs. 13,000, reflecting the strong demand and the limited availability of seats. The flight service will operate three times a week: Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
The schedule includes a departure from Jaipur at 11:20 am, arriving at Ozar airport near Nashik at 2:20 pm, followed by a return flight that leaves Ozar at 2:40 pm and reaches Jaipur at 5:30 pm. There will be a brief 20-minute stopover in Indore during the return leg of the journey. This restored connectivity has garnered attention, especially for passengers traveling for trade, industrial business, tourism, and family visits between the two cities.
