Vadodara: Twenty-five villages in Vadodara district have been put on alert as over 2.45 lakh cusecs of water was being released from the Sardar Sarovar dam in Narmada district. Fifteen gates of the Sardar Sarovar dam were opened at 1.

These villages are located along the Narmada river banks in Vadodara district, and the local administration has been instructed to keep an eye on the situation and take precautionary measures.
