Producer Namit Malhotra, a leading figure in Hollywood and Bollywood, has made history again. As one of the first Indians to finance large-scale global projects like The Garfield Movie and The Angry Birds Movie 3, Malhotra has pushed creative and technical boundaries, solidifying his influence in the global film industry. Brahmastra Part One: Shiva, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, and others, won big at the 70th National Film Awards 2024.

The film’s producer Karan Johar, director Ayan Mukerji, and Namit Malhotra were honoured with the National Film Award for Best Film in AVGC (Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, and Comic) at a ceremony in New Delhi, where the President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, presented the awards.
