Encroachment on Thammidi Kunta Lake As per reports, the N Convention Center, situated on a 10-acre plot, is accused of encroaching on the Full Tank Level (FTL) area and buffer zone of Thammidi Kunta Lake , a local water body.
According to official reports, the FTL area of the lake spans approximately 29.24 acres. The center is alleged to have encroached upon 1.
12 acres of this area and an additional 2 acres within the buffer zone. This demolition follows a lengthy period of scrutiny and allegations against the N Convention Center. Reports suggest that for years, the facility's management leveraged their influence to circumvent regulatory actions from the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) and other authorities, evading potential repercussions for their encroachments.
