Nabanna Abhiyan: Watch Protestors Clash With Police, Climb Atop Barricades To Reach Bengal Secretariat Updated: August 27, 2024 1:41 PM IST By The ‘Nabanna Abhiyan’ protest march, held to seek justice for the trainee doctor who was raped and murdered at RG Kar Hospital on August 9, intensified and turned violent as protestors clashed with the police while attempting to breach barricades at Santragachi in Howrah. To stop the protesters, the police resorted to a lathi charge. As the protestors began pelting stones at the police, they responded with tear gas and water cannons to disperse the crowd.
